For a last minute request of a move, I was thoroughly impressed with the timeliness and efforts of the two gentleman, Carlos & Daniel, who came to our aide moving very awkwardly large items out of our second story apartment. When there was a delay, they were very upfront and called us to let us know, and when they got here they were very quick & efficient. A huge plus was how conversational and pleasant they were to work with! It was like moving with friends without the pain of dealing with a bunch of lazy people who are in it for free pizza & beer. Our apartment in Boystown moved to the one in Pilsen took less than three hours to pack up, travel, and unload. The majority of this time was the commute during rush hour. Carlos & Daniel even had no qualms unloading our packed up cars as well. This company, especially that duo, is officially going to be my go-to.

The absolute worst. The day of my move they NEVER SHOWED UP. They weren't late. They never showed. Wouldn't answer the phone either. They are the antithesis of "dependable."

We used the Dependable Moving and Cleaning on Oct 1, 2015 to unpack a moving truck and they were a great bargain. The called me a couple of days before the scheduled job to verify their readiness and the day of the job. They arrived on time, and were very professional. The only negative issue we experienced was a one of the four workmen assigned to putting together a bed-frame it wrong and hid the extra pieces in another room.We gave them instructions on where each box and other items were supposed to go and it was done. They worked around the workmen from the phone and satellite companies. They had on issues working around the (3) dogs and were courteous to everyone in the house. When everything was moved and properly placed they asked if there was more work for them to do and they even helped opened all the boxes to look for a few needed items. I would recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

I absolutely do NOT recommend.  My move was rescheduled from 6pm on Friday to Saturday late morning causing an entire shift in our WHOLE process.  It was a two location load, and no one made us aware we were responsible for driving the movers to the second location.   I knew for a fact (bc I had to cap off the load in our semi-filled truck) that about 5 feet could've been gained by 'professional' movers lifting and reconfiguring items to make them more safe and efficient.   I spent 20 minutes debating this fact when finally I gave up bc it was raining.  Soooooooo, at the next location guess what...we were short about 5 feet....and as things were being loaded my new desk was loaded 'top-heavy' (drawers side up) and basically ripped the entire piece of furniture rendering it useless.  I have emailed Dependable every day for over a week with no response on this claim.     I gave about a 10% tip bc of the damage, lots of standing around time, and my stuff was already packed and fairly light......I actually got an eye-roll about my level of gratuity.   I would NEVER recommend using this service.

I will keep this short and to the point:  If you want people smoking weed around your belongings, to be ripped off. damaged property, an attitude or to be ignored when calling "customer service"  -----  Total Joke there........ then hire this company.............  if you want a professional, reputable and reliable moving company that this isn't the company for you.  This is probably the worst moving company out there and the reviews confirm that
