These guys were SO fast! They wrapped everything up and had a whole system of packing things a certain way to ensure our stuff was safe in the truck. The day we moved was miserable, raining and freezing all day, and they managed to get everything done in about 2 and a half hours (three bedroom apartment) and didn't complain about the weather once. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE GETTING REIMBURSED BY YOUR WORK FOR YOUR MOVE!The actual move was 4.5 stars, they were quick, efficient, and moved our 1 BR apt from Chicago to California with minimal breakage(Only broke a couple lamps).  If you are desperately in need of a quick mover, are able to maintain communication and be persistent, AND don't need any proper receipts/confirmation of your move for work reimbursement, sure, they might be a decent choice.We were excited to use a full service moving company because my new job reimburses our move up.  However, we NEVER got a receipt for our move!  We asked for a receipt for our move multiple times before the move and were reassured we would get one at completion.  On moving day, asked again and was reassured we would get one in 2 weeks. The owner, Richard, said he had a vacation coming up so he would get it to us as soon as he could.  Sure, we're flexible so we said that would be fine.  We waited for 2 weeks, then 1 month and now we're on the 3rd month.  We've been emailing and calling multiple times over this period for this receipt and most of our emails and calls went ignored.  Sometimes he would respond to an email, but he clearly has no record of our move including the fees and would ask us how much we paid because he doesn't remember.  We had written down our payments so we emailed him the figures and still...no response.  Now we're out $6000 because we can't get a freaking receipt.  Pretty ridiculous and not up to par for a professional moving company.Even prior to the move, they were extremely hard to get a hold of and a lot of the time we weren't sure if the move was even confirmed.  We had to be quite persistent with calling   multiple times and leaving multiple voicemails, over multiple days to confirm our move.  He also called frequently at random hours, sometimes pretty early at 5 or 6 am. Yes they get the job done, but overall very unprofessional.  Too bad.

These guys were amazing! I called tonight SUPER LAST MINUTE trying to move a couch I bought from someone to my apartment about a mile away. They were generous enough to make time tonight instead of early tomorrow morning and were incredibly efficient and friendly. I really appreciated their service and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

Richard is not a man of his word. He told me by phone last week that his company could move us the following Monday. I sent the detailed email he requested, followed up repeatedly, his voice mail was full, sent him a text, he wrote back saying they'd be here between 10 and noon. Called him tonight to confirm after trying every method to get in touch all weekend, and now he says he "just found out" they can't make it and I shouldn't consider a text an official form of communication. This is 2016. You text me a time, you stick to it and don't drop a customer at the last second with no notice. Unbelievable.

I moved from uptown to North Logan square the day after Christmas 2016. Collins family movers took on the job roughly 1 week in advance even on such short notice and with a forecast of rain for that day. They worked quickly and efficiently, doing the work of 3 men with only 2. They brought plenty of wrapping materials and a perfectly sized truck for the job. They unloaded everything perfectly and helped me put extra pieces of my dining room table back in. But the most incredible part is that they managed to hook the two pieces of my sectional couch together. I don't think you guys understand, the place I bought it from couldn't get them to hook together. And these guys got it on the first try with just a couple simple tools. Not to mention they were cheaper than all the other movers I contacted. Win! I will definitely be using them to the move my new desk in the next couple weeks.
