Used them to move recently.  Customer service and rates they provided were very good. I like the guys they sent for the actual move, they were early, and worked very efficiently.  I didn't even see them take a break.  Very good experience overall.

One thing I have to point out is that the movers are very polite. We hear of some real bad experiences with rude and rough folks. That can add to your stress. Dimitry, the manager, particularly, is very professional and polite. Having said that, l do have to share why I am not giving them a full 5 stars. They came late and in a small truck so the entire move had to be broken up in 2 days instead of one. On the 2nd day, the movers did a part of the job and then simply said no to moving the heavy objects and left. We had to hire another local moving company, and spend extra, to move the appliances, boxes and chests upstairs. They were never rude but then just didn't finish the job. But they handled things carefully and didn't break anything, which is rare in a move. I hope they improve and don't repeat these actions with others. They are good people and deserve a chance. But we just didn't deserve the stress that came with hiring them.

What an amazing moving company! My husband and I were stuck in a very unpleasant situation and Chicago Master Movers helped us move TWICE in one week! The team was exceptionally kind, punctual, and respectful towards us and all our belongings. I highly recommend this company! Thank you so much for the amazing deal and for making our moves as easy and stress free as possible!

**AVOID Chicago Master Movers at all costs***. I moved with Chicago Master Movers this past weekend and Chicago Master Movers and its owner Dimitry, are very unprofessional, condescending, unethical, deceitful and fibbers. Do not get hustled or swindled by Dimitry. Chicago Master Movers will charge you hidden fees that they do not disclose, make up prices as they go, never provide you with any type of real contract and their "movers" are flight by night guys. Dimitry wants to play with the big boys, but he doesn't operate like the big boys, instead he is running a lemonade stand that leaves you with a sour taste. He's a salesmen (he touts he has many, many businesses), who is a fabricator and will say anything to get the job or to get himself out of a situation. Dimitry over promises and under delivers. His trucks are Uhaul trucks with the stickers removed.  He makes up fees, charges you for things never mentioned or discussed. He threatens to leave your stuff on a curb if you push back on the service that you receive. His movers were 45 minutes late. I was promised two trucks and got 1 14ft truck for a 3 bedroom with basement town home. I was promised 3 men, I got 1 and 2 teenagers and one that was eventually sent home.  The movers dropped my son's headboard on my hardwood floors and scratched my floors. I complained to Dimitry and stopped his 1 set of movers that were sent over and told me that he is sending 2 more bigger real movers and since he is sending me new ones, the current ones will stop work and wait until the other set of movers arrive. Which was 60 minutes later. He made the 1st set of movers sit in the truck for one hour and not do anything until the other movers arrived. My BF, son, and BFs daughter started breaking down and wrapping the furniture ourselves. Mind you when I booked with CCM, I told them that I would not be moving ANY boxes. Just furniture and that all the furniture is going into storage which was 1 mile from my home. This should have been an easy fast move.  When I questioned Dimitry about the fees that he never disclosed to me on the phone originally or in person, his response was that they were union and these are union fees...which is a lie. They are not union. And if there were, then why wasn't I told about these "fees" when I booked.  It took 5 hours to pack just furniture that was already broken down and wrapped and dropped off in storage 1 mile away. Upon arrival at the storage facility, my BF is told by the movers that there is a travel charge. When I booked Dimitry told me that it was a flat hourly rate from the time they arrive to the time they unload...well that was a lie. I was charged travel time, shrink wrap used and for adding two other guys since the 1st set couldn't get the job done. They didn't even have a credit card machine, or app or carbons. My BF had to write is credit card number on the back of a piece of paper and sign by the number. Who operates like this. I could go on and on about the service that I received. It was an absolute nightmare.  I have moved many times and I have never experienced anything like this. BTW, most of the positive Yelp reviews are from the owners friends. Even Dimitry the owner made a positive review. AVOID!!!!

CMM helped me move last week and they were excellent. Got done ahead of schedule and took great care of my belongings. Planning to use CMM for my office move in April.
