5 stars for the Boerman team!We knew we were in good hands from our first interaction with Mike. He did a quick survey, provided a fixed price estimate and we didn't feel nickel-and-dimed about little things. Pamela was great on the logistics front, answering questions and making sure we had our paperwork completed. The guys that loaded the truck were awesome - cheerful and fun to work with despite the hot and muggy weather. It turned out to be the same crew who delivered our load in Minneapolis 2 days later and they worked tirelessly in spite of dealing with some grouchy neighbors (2 stars for my neighbors!)This was my 4th move with professionals and by far the best experience of all. I have no expectations that I'll ever move back to Chicagoland, but if I did, Boerman would be the only call I made.

We didn't have a good experience with Boerman . Let me start by saying that the man who came for the estimate was awesome. He was very professional, not judgemental considering our mess because of 2 little children in the house. He was very knowledgeable and provided us an estimate on spot. He was the reason we decided to go ahead with choosing Boerman for moving our stuff. We moved from Bolingbrook to Boston . Unfortunately that great expectation didn't last. The day of move ,the truck driver came at 8am, with 4 guys but all of them disappeared after they took a tour of our house. God knows why. No one came to do the loading until 12-1 pm. All this time, only the truck driver was trying to get our furniture out and keeping it on the driveway. Then only one man came who started loading the truck. Now imagine this super slow process happening in the house with 2 little children, one is 4 months old baby and we tired of all packing days prior. The guys finished the job at 7 pm and I am not exaggerating! 11 hours for the loading! No one came to supervise or offer help to the truck driver from the company. Now let me add how they handled our furniture. They didn't have enough space in the truck and both guys kept figuring out where to put our stuff in the truck. There estimate of space wasn't matching with the truck they sent. They pushed things everywhere in the truck they found a space. Now, this is what I believe led to missing parts of our furniture in the end. Parts of our bed and legs of ottoman never arrived. Now the day of arrival of our belongings at Boston. The truck driver had updated us that he will be there next day which was great. Stuff arrived well on time. But the driver came alone!He had called a guy for help locally . He came on his bike but to our astonishment police came and took him with them while he was parking outside our house. He was a defaulter. Then hours late 2 people came to do the unloading, obviously they were not from Boerman. We were so fed up with all this and badly wanted our furniture to be kept in the house. This all again took all day. Again the pain doubles when you have little children in the house, I giv them 2 stars. The positives- the initial communication was great. The truck driver was a polite man and professional in dealings. Our furniture was packed well and no damage done. Though they lost parts of our bed, partial parts they sent by mail a week later. We have to buy new ottoman legs , paint it and attach . I hope that Boerman reads this and acts on the issues and provide better service to future customers.

Handled a big move from Willow Springs to Downers Grove. From the start everything went How Mike Boerman said it would. The men showed up on time and did a walk thru to see what items I had concerns about. Move went flawlessThanks to Mondo, Mickey , Cole and Mark.  Would definitely recommend them to anyone.  Made a stressful situation more pleasant.

Absolute worst experience ever! 2 guys showed up and ONE of the two were so rude all he worried about was getting to his next delivery! Left my 125 pound new couch in my lobby of my building and said here you go! I asked him, I would please like to inspect it , he said OH we have NO time for that? WHAT?? He also said my office has already called and we need to move on to our next delivery? Umm okay so your not going to attempt to get my NEW couch up to my unit? His response! Um No we need to leave now we have other deliveries! I've never experienced such unprofessionalism in my 69 years of life! Rude Rude and Rude! Don't waste your money or time by using this unprofessional company! I will post this companies name on every single website I can to let the public know about this company that they don't know what customer service is at all!!!

We had a great experience local moving with Boerman. We appreciated the professionalism of the entire team from sales, movers to customer support. It was great that someone came to check on the job and provided us with who to contact if there were any concerns. We also had them pack our kitchen which was a huge help. We would definitely recommend them to others and use them again if we need to move in the future.
