I utilized Bernard Movers this week to relocate me from South Loop to the loop and I would 100% recommend them as they are true professionals in what they do. My team was Harold, Jake and Jake and they helped me out and got everything done in a very timely manner. These are real professionals, would never use a different moving company going forward.

These guys were awesome! I moved from 2 apartments in Bucktown to a house in the suburbs. They got the job done in 5.5 hours. Also with a rate of $120 / hr during prime moving dates, they're reasonably priced as well!After getting a quote from the owner, it was actually really difficult getting a hold of them to book a move date, but after trying every phone number on the website I reached Mena on this "polish speakers" line. She coordinated every detail and was extremely helpful and thorough. Anthony managed the group during the day of the move, today, and everything went seamless on their end. We went a bit over time because we had a few more things to bring than expected -- last minute reshuffling in the truck will def kill some time. Nothing that was their fault though. The guys moved everything pretty quickly and we were all laughs and jokes the whole time. The only thing that I could possibly complain about is the oil stain they left on our driveway, but assuming they only move in the city, that's not something anyone would have noticed. I highly recommend these guys. This was the easiest moving experience I've ever had. I'm averaging about 5 apartments in the last 7 years.

We are happy with our recent move.  Marvin, Angelo, and Allen(Alvin?) moved our 1 bedroom condo from Bucktown in Chicago to our new home in NW Indiana.I have used Bernard Movers for 4 moves and they never disappoint.  The 3 gentleman were hardworking, professional, and efficient.  I would recommend Bernard Movers for all your moving needs, than you guys!

Fantastic move again! I've used Bernard Movers before and am pleased again. Anthony, Mark and Juan were very professional, polite and efficient. Scheduling with Lynn was pleasant and a breeze.  My parents were downsizing after 42 years in one home and the guys reassured them every step of the way. I highly recommend Bernard Movers.

When I bought my dream condo in the Loop, I never imagined what a nightmare move would look like. I didn't own a lot of expensive things and didn't feel like it was necessary to go through the steps of paying an expensive company extra money just to move my things five blocks, but I was VERY WRONG! I hired Bernard Movers in December of 2016. The majority of the move seemed to go well. I had three or four movers. They used dolly's and carried almost all large items in safely. Finally, it was time for them to move in my mattress. Instead of two men carrying in the mattress in box spring, one man decided to drag it across the floor. It was then that my brother brought it to my attention that the guy dragged the mattress and it ripped a few pieces off of my hand scrapped custom made hardwood flooring. Instead of him apologizing and owning up to his mistake he attempted to cover it up - very poorly! He removed the tape from the top half of the mattress leaving the pieces of wood splinter all over it (see photo #1) He left the tape that caused the rip on the floor (see photo 2 &3). When I brought this to their attention holding pieces of flooring that were broken apart (see photo 4) they said,"Oh you can just put some wood stain on that and you won't even notice." Wait, what... this is an answer to your movers tearing up my floor? Imagine how you'd feel if you purchased a luxury condo with custom made flooring and during the move, they destroy it and do not apologize nor do they offer any assistance. I've uploaded pictures of what the floor looked like before and during the move it was once very beautiful.I reached out to the owner, manager, and etc for assistance and did not receive any progress. The flooring I have is unique because it is a concrete building and there must be room for the titles or flooring to contract. It is called a "floating floor". You cannot glue pieces of wood onto a floating floor because during summer months when it's heavy heat and humidity it will buckle. Sadly, no one who came out to do the estimates knew much about installing floors in concrete high rise buildings. Finally, I find someone who installs floors in this building and they tell me that you cannot repair this flooring it has to be replaced! When I shared this with Bernard movers they went completely silent on me and I had to write it off as a loss. When I was deciding on which Condo to purchase in this building I selected this one because of the flawless fancy upgraded dark wood flooring it is no longer fancy or flawless. When I finished unpacking my things I found out that several boxes were missing and everything was glass! Three boxes of crystal wine glasses and the glass tops to my pots were all missing from my items when I unpacked. I realized that the same way the movers refused to acknowledge that they tore up my floor they also refused to acknowledge that they broke my glassware. My guess is the movers dropped the boxes and when they unloaded the truck they noticed they were broke because it made noise so they discarded them so I wouldn't find out right away. Not only did they go above and beyond to cover up their mistakes they never officially apologized for what they did. I can replace the glasses, I can even install a new floor, but I will never get back the feelings of trust that I had prior to this business deal.I'm going, to be honest, I cried over this. I feel like that naive trusting part that makes you less leery of people died during my negotiations with this company and yes my floor is still messed up.
