I had a dilemma on which moving/delivery company to hire to move 2 vintage tables with glass tops, one of the quite large. I reached out to a received a estimate from The Professionals, whom I have hired twice to move me. Unfortunately their estimate was for $285 as they have a 2 hour minimum. Dolly was going to be the $150 range, but Rick, the owner of Urban Artifacts discouraged me from hiring them due to a previous experience with them showing up with out the proper protective gear to deliver some vintage pieces for a customer. I thought I had someone lined up who was going to charge $125, but he never responded to my request for proof of insurance, so I fired him. I started calling around and my first company was going to charge $315 and I mentioned that that was higher than The Professionals. The guy's response was well if he is going to be underbid I better make sure they crate each table top, as he would not take responsibility unless each glass top is crated. Thanks, but no thanks. My next call was to Applied Moving Systems and I spoke with the owner Ziko. He quoted me $185 and provided the proof of proper insurance. I would definitely hire these guys again as my crew were friendly and quickly and efficiently completed the delivery. They were a little late as Ziko scheduled them at the end of a much larger job, but that was not a big issue. The best part of this was Rick, the shop owner where the pick up was scheduled, telling me he was so impressed with them that he would hire them. Awesome, as that is not faint praise at all. If you're hesitant about using one of the delivery services such as Dolly, but you don't want to pay the bigger moving companies to do it these are your guys.

This was our second time using AMS and we couldn't recommend them more. We had a lot of issues closing our condo, the bank moved our date twice, much to our panic, and each time we had to reschedule our move. Zico and Tina took everything in stride and let us postpone and reschedule repeatedly. We were extremely stressed during this process and the flexibility and kindness they showed us was wonderful. On the moving day, the guys were on time, innovative with ways to speed up the move as we had a lot of little boxes that took a lot of trips and made us run behind schedule. We were impressed and grateful for their honesty and diligence. We did pay for 2 more hours that we were previously quoted for, but that because of how we packed things rather than their work ethic. So pack in big boxes and your move will go right on time as it did with our first move with them!They also took special care with my grandmothers old dresser, an item I am extremely protective of. My husband jumped in to help (he's a hands on kinda guy) and had a great time working with them as well. In a nutshell, stop right here, you found it, go with AMS, you won't be disappointed with the price or the service. Thanks guys!

I recently moved from one third-floor walkup to another third-floor walk up. I contacted Applied Moving Systems for a quote on my move; they were neither the cheapest option, nor the most expensive, but I got a good vibe when I spoke with the rep and went with my gut. Best. Decision. Ever.AMS reached out *to me* confirming the date and time of the move about three days before. (I'd been planning on following up with them, but they beat me to it!) My movers (Derrick, Robert, and Kevin) showed up almost 30 minutes early. They worked around four adults, a small infant, and a 70 lb dog for the first hour or so, while they got a sense of what all was being moved and how best to get the pieces from our unit to the truck. They were professional but friendly and personable. They were careful with wrapping the furniture and getting the pieces out of the old unit and into the new one. It was little things, like being careful to NOT step on the threshold of our new sliding glass door (which can warp the slide), that really made me appreciate their work.I budgeted $700 for this move (expecting about 5 hours of work). The three guys did it in 3.5 hours, and with tip it ran just over $450. Every penny was well worth it.

Easy to book, guys showed up right on time and busted their asses including 3 flights of stairs every time, hit the estimate exactly, best deal around

Fantastic.  We were so impressed with this company and they went above and beyond any expectations we had.  Our moving plans fell apart THE DAY BEFORE our move.  We desperately called APPLIED MOVING SOLUTIONS based on the good reviews and they were  able to quickly set up a move for the following morning.  NO crazy 'last minute fees", just friendly, and professional assistance from Ziko. Very, very reasonable moving quote.We have moved a lot of times and the crew we met the next morning was the most polite and timely group of people.  They were friendly, very careful with our belongings and didn't waste a minute getting our belongings out the door.We hope to not have to move again for several years, but when and if we do we look forward to working with this wonderful company again.  I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND this team to anyone needing to move. EXCELLANT.
