We found Alliance Moving on Thumbtack. We received multiple quotes from local movers but from the first contact, I had a good feeling about Alliance. We couldn't have made a better choice. The company was on top of discussing our move with us from the beginning making sure we had everything covered. During the day of the move (8/12), the 3 man team showed up and immediately got to work. We moved from a 2nd floor condo and the complications of the access points (parking and staircase) didn't pose an issue. Another moving company quoted 7 hours for 3 guys. Alliance was done in 3.5 hours. The team was professional and friendly. They did a great job and all of the items found there way to the correct rooms, undamaged. We were extremely happy with the service we got and will be recommending Alliance to anyone we encounter looking to move. To add the exclamation point to our move, they finished the move under the estimate.If you're contemplating a moving company, you won't go wrong with Alliance!

Alliance was the best moving experience, from the first phone call to the final handshake. I found them using Thumbtack, and within the first hour of submitting my request, I was contacted by Phyllis to schedule an on-site estimation. We scheduled a date and time that worked, and on that date, right on time, they showed up and gave me a very thorough in-person review of everything I'd need packed and shipped. They were the only moving company who came out for an in-person estimate (others either just wanted a list of things, or did a "virtual" estimate, but Alliance went that extra miles to really see for themselves what we needed to move, helping us feel confident we were on the same page for the quote.)We had a special situation that would spread our move out over several days, requiring us to store items on their truck (essentially locking up one of their trucks for a couple nights, preventing them from using it) and they offered me a very reasonable quote for all the services, including storage. We called no fewer than 6 other moving companies, and despite other companies having more "word of mouth" recommendations from friends, nobody was able to meet or beat Alliance's service and quote - and this was even BEFORE any actual moving started.We just felt the most comfortable and cared for with Alliance, so we went with them. Absolutely no regrets - they made what was a stressful move into a breeze. The team came in, packed up everything that was odd-shaped like lamps and mirrors, and were very careful with my already-packed delicate items and breakable kitchen stuff. They had our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (3rd floor WALKUP) condo cleared out within 4 hours, and with smiles on all of their faces. They even were so sweet to our two dogs; I even loved the shirts they wore that said "If your dog doesn't like someone, maybe you shouldn't either" or something like that - well, our dogs were very comfortable with them despite the stressful situation of strangers taking away all of their stuff! That's how you know they're good guys :) Two days later, they rolled up again, and had our new house moved in within 3 hours again. The final bill came in under-budget and 100% perfect - nothing scratched, broken, or damaged. I would recommend Alliance to anyone looking for movers who care, who really focus on customer service from start to finish, and who really go that extra mile to make your move less stressful. Let's face it, moving sucks, but Alliance is the best at making it an actually pleasant experience. Thank you Alliance!

Great experience! Found Alliance on a moving lead generating website. Alliance was the first company to call me back and were also the moat affordable. I was given a quote over the phone and it was spot on. I received a call ahead that the truck was on its way when it was supposed to be and the crew even showed up a little early. The crew wasted no time wrapping and moving my boxes and furniture. They even disassembled and re-assembled my bed and dining table! The move was quick and my stuff was unpacked in my new place with no issues! All of the movers were very friendly and professional as well.I would highly recommend Alliance to anyone looking for a reasonable and well organized move!

After multiple in-home estimates, I felt most comfortable with Alliance Moving, and my gut instinct did not prove me wrong.  Carlos Delgado and his crew were at my house right on time, at 7am.  The entire crew handled my items carefully and worked hard all day to get the job done efficiently.  The crew members were polite and respectful. The final bill was right on par with the estimate.I have moved 3 times in the last 4 years, and by far, Alliance Moving, was the best company to work with.  I highly recommed them to others.

We used Alliance Moving company for a recent move.  They were fantastic.  Carlos and his crew arrived on time, surveyed the situation and began working very quickly.  They listened to what we told them and did as we had asked.  They took great care of our items and wrapped/packaged what needed to be protected.  They worked hard the whole time which was about 8+ hours and never seemed to take a break.  They were very pleasant and friendly.  We have not found that any of our items were damaged or lost in the move.  They made great use of the space in their trucks and positioned/cared for items carefully. The cost of the move was better than the others we received and I felt their price was great! My contact with Phyllis at the office was great, she was knowledgeable, responsive, quick to reply, and pleasant.  I would highly recommend this moving company.
