Absolutely the worst moving experience I’ve ever had.

I booked my move from Dillon, CO to Noblesville, IN through Metro Hop Relocation LLC, but the experience was a nightmare from start to finish.

I was quoted $4,294.60, but my final bill ballooned to $6,623.86, even after we agreed on changes to the items being moved. No proper explanation or documentation was provided for the huge increase.

The movers arrived in a truck labeled “Seven Hills,” which was confusing since the move was supposed to be handled by Best Moving Service. The lead mover even said he was there for a “Craigslist move,” despite the broker promising that the movers were bonded and insured.

I was promised a phone call before arrival but only received a text message 30 minutes beforehand.

My home and belongings were seriously damaged:

The movers caused such severe damage to my walls that I can literally see through my staircase into the unfinished basement.

My leather chair was ruined.

None of the furniture was reassembled as promised, even though I paid for setup.

When I reached out to the broker, Steven, he completely stopped responding after I made the initial payment. When I called the office, the representative I spoke to was rude and dismissive.

I have photos documenting all the damage and have repeatedly asked for copies of the signed paperwork, as well as a call back from a supervisor. I’ve been ignored at every turn.

This company was unprofessional, misleading, and careless with both my belongings and my home. I will be disputing the charges and pursuing further action if necessary.

Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for a reputable, transparent moving company.

The moving crew tagged, foam-wrapped the power equipment, and organized everything into toolboxes and crates. One even suggested arranging my new desk for better storage, like getting a free personal organizer!
