Upline Moving

I am moving from CA to NYC. Upline contact me right away to set up a date for the move and get detailed information of my needs. The evaluator came two days later on time and was polite. I told him what I would self packed and what I needed them to pack. The estimator was responsive to my additional questions and requests. However, it turned that there was a big misunderstanding about what the whole order should be and what service they would provide.When the moving crew came, they and I were surprised what needed to be done. It turned out the order needed be changed which resulted in an additional charge and Ethan worked really hard to work out with me. The move was re-schedule to the next day. Dale,Josue,Manuel,Victor and Chino were professional and polite. Dale explained to me what he and his crew is going to pack for me and what I needed to do myself.Pros : The moving crew is very well trained, efficient and polite. They came on time and let you know when they will be arriving. The operation's manager tried to work with me to get the order right.Cons: Be very clear and follow up with clarifications - done best in writing- what you need so there are no surprises on moving date. Better asked twice and dump questions if you are not sure. I believe it was not the estimator's intention to mislead me of the service the crew will provide but was done in haste and to secure the order. I gave Upline 5 stars because of the moving crew lead by Dale und their efforts to help me to correct the order. The communication with the estimator did not meet my expectation. I am hoping that my experience with the delivery to NYC will be as good as the pick up.

Victor came out for an in-home estimate. We had previously decided on another company, however Victor walked me through the "hidden fees" with other companies. In the end, I'm pleased to say our price for the move is exactly what Victor estimated - no scary day-of charges. Great pickup experience. Dale was patient and accommodating when we were trying to organize some last minute things while his crew got started. Ali, Manuel, Herman, and ... Jose?? I lost the sheet with their names so I'm not confident in the 5th crew member's name. Hopefully the Upline office can trace back to our pick up day (5/18 @ 8:30am in SF) to reward the right people! They were all very efficient and respectful. Would use them again!Items will be delivered in about a month (delay is our choice), so hoping it is as smooth on the other end.

Moving is stressful.  Moving out of state is even more stressful.  From the first phone call, to the home visit and quote with Vincent, to the pack up in Martinez, CA to the delivery in Roseburg, OR with Alberto--hard working dedicated employees who showed up when they said they world and worked with efficiency and professionalism. Outstanding customer service and attention to detail. This company knows what needs to happen for a good move.  No hidden surprises and a fair price!

After having a terrible experience with another moving company (FlatRate), I had to come back and rate Upline for the terrific service they provided me in February 2016 - bringing all my belongings from storage in San Francisco to NYC - safely! Thank you, Upline for providing such outstanding service at a reasonable cost!

These guys are rock stars! Max (estimator/sales) was so personable and not pushy in any way. He was prompt and made the walk through a piece of cake. I love that he could tell me what a specific item would cost to move, and then I could decide whether or not it was worth it. Within 24hrs I received my estimate and it was much more reasonable than anyone else we had spoken with. On moving day, I was so stressed out until they arrived. Dale (foreman on day 1) was so nice, calm and eased all of my anxiety. Alex, Josue and Rudy were absolutely awesome that day also. All hardworking guys!Day 2 - Rudy was foreman and we had Josue, Alberto, Manuel and Peter who were all awesome. They took such care in packing even the least expensive items. Every single one of them, was so polite and personable and hard working. Anything I needed or any questions I had, they were quick to help, never seemed frustrated or annoyed with my many questions. The process working with Upline so far has been a dream come true at such a stressful time. I will update my review on the other end when we receive our truck. Update: The guys at the other end of the move were great too!
