Ray and Luis are awesome! They were early, loaded up the truck super fast and there was zero damage to my stuff or house. I used to live in a wannabe Winchester mystery house full of dark hallways and cramped staircases but they had no trouble maneuvering around my complex.  Then came the icing on the cake - Ray got out his tools and saved me some money by fixing my crappy IKEA bed. I highly recommend SJ Small Moves. Hopefully I won't be moving again any time soon but if I do, I'll definitely want to work with them again.Protip #1 - Use boxes. For some reason, that didn't occur to me and I packed like a hobo so my move got messy. They were cool about it but ya know... don't be that person lolProtip #2 - Bring cash. They use a card reader, which is convenient but a percentage of the charge goes to some other company and the two movers deserve every penny of that sale.

I was just quoted $645 for moving 1 treadmill a 5 mile distance. I am sorry but in less then 30 minutes my brother and myself (a female) were able to put the treadmill on a uhaul truck and take it to the new apartment. The only problem is between the 2 of us we couldn't take it to the second story (did 2 steps out of about 15) so we had to lift it back into the uhaul. The guy on the phone said it would take 4 guys, 3 hours because it is going up stairs. The 4 guys I understand but 3 hours umm I don't think so.

These movers were awesome!Me and my roommate weren't the best packers while intoxicated lol.. however, the guys made it clear that it wouldn't be a problem considering we had no lids to a numerous amount of boxes., garbage bags full of random items, and items still not packed up and ready to go. Worst packers ever award goes to me and my roommate. LOLThey packaged, taped, disassembled our furniture, and  delivered and assembled everything for us not even 1 mile away from our apt.  No broken items and no dents on anything.They even made a stop to another location to pick up a table!Until our next move, we'll see you again!-San Jose Bad Girlz Club-

I spoke with Ray and he was efficient and responsive in providing me an estimate and schedule availability for my move from San Jose to just outside SF. The pricing was reasonable and fair. Justin and Amon called me the day of to let me know they were on their way. They arrived and were on task and professional from start to finish. I appreciated how respectful and careful they were with my stuff and maneuvering the furniture and boxes thru the house. They were very service oriented, checking if I needed help packing anything up. In just an hour they had loaded the truck with enough for a 2 bedroom apt. Once at the new place, their consistency and pace did not falter. They would pause only to ask me where I wanted items. So they finished up in a very efficient amount of time despite stairs and a unit that was tucked away in the complex.Thank you to Justin and Amon for being super nice and helpful and getting the job done as promised.

Rey and his crew were very thorough in packaging and protecting the furniture.  They were very professional and helpful.
