Thanks Murat!!!  We recently had to move out of our 2 bedroom apartment in one day.  I had been living there for 8 years, and had accumulated way more stuff than I realized.  Murat and Vladimir to the rescue!  They were careful, friendly, and patient with me.  Most importantly they treated our stuff like it was their own.  We will be moving again in a few months and I am going to call San Francisco Movers and specifically request Murat.

EDIT: Moving company reached out to me. Since I was traveling, I wasn't getting their phone calls and something funky with my voicemail prevented communication. We'll see what happens and I'll update this review. For benefit of doubt, I am changing rating from 1 to 2 stars for now...still in process of resolving. -----------------------------------------------------If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is terrible in every way.This was my second time using them, and I have to admit the first time, while they did show up a bit late, once they arrived things did go smoothly. Not so much this time around. Ironically, one of the same guys from before arrived and we recognized each other. Moving on to the details of the worst move ever...The day before the move, the company emailed me along with a bunch of other customers on the same email. Someone else commented on how weird it was for them to email us together. It was a clerical mistake, and I got a bad feeling about this but there was nothing I could do since it was less than 24 hours to go. Note that I booked several weeks in advance. The day of the move, I learned that the movers were coming to my building directly from a job in LA. They must have woken up late as they arrived 2 hours later than appointment. Since I had to book time with my building loading dock with only 3 hours, we were forced to move the truck after only 1 hour of moving with the dock. This change was a significant blow and it mostly contributed to increasing length of the entire job. Instead of rolling stuff onto the dock, they had to do manual lifts which meant MORE hours, MORE $$$ out of my pocket. What should have been a 3-3.5 hour job turned into a 5.5 hour job. The worst part is that the drivers told me they had no idea they were working this job until the prior night. They weren't happy about it either and they admitted that the central HQ aggressively over-booked them and it wasn't the first time that this kind of thing happened. I was given a small discount, but ended up paying $697 which is much more than I expected to pay.All of the nonsense above is not even the worst part. As you can imagine, things were very rushed towards the end. My building was closing elevator access because we were so late. In the midst of everything, 15 minutes after they left my apartment, I noticed that one of my furniture pieces was MISSING. It was a chair. A beautiful vintage chair. I still do not understand where the chair went. I know it was moved out of my apartment. BUT, it never made it to my new apt. When I called the driver, he was confused but it sounded like he knew where it was. WRONG. He thought it was back at the old apartment and after weeks of following up to ask them to re-deliver, they finally tried but due to poor communication they didn't tell me the chair was missing from the truck entirely. Instead, they wasted everyone's time and went back to my old apt where the new tenant was rightly confused. I have been getting the run around on the phone and though I was told to email to file a claim, I have received NO RESPONSE. The 4 star rating here is quite baffling.   So in the end...I paid more than double what I thought I would be payingThey lost one of my favorite furniture pieces with zero explanationThere is no process for recourse and they clearly don't give a crap as no one has followed up to my emailsWhenever I called throughout the process, from them being late to losing my chair....they are fairly apathetic and it's like "hey it is what it is" kind of attitude. There is zero empathy, which isn't even doing that much. The only reason you are booking this company is because they are super cheap. Now you know why...choose at your own risk.

I am very sad to report that from my experienced mover point of view, this business has gone to hell. My original review in April 2016 was a straightforward five-star thank you to that crew. Unfortunately, since then I've hired this company twice, each time with greater disappointment. The first of these two times, the guy in charge of taking apart the bed shows up without a simple set of wrenches. So what does he do? Hammer and screwdriver, of course. Having disassembled this stuff personally several times, and hearing banging instead of wrenching, I stopped him in his tracks. I gave him the tools he needed and the rest of the move was fine.So having loved my April 2016 crew so much, I decided to try these guys one more time on May 26, 2017. My Lord! What a mistake. Murat and Phil show up to pack me. The net was they were woefully short materials, so they packed my stuff like nobody cared, or like they'd never done this before. I have moved internationally, across country, and in local moves many times in my life. This crew was an absolute joke. My suits and shorts were jammed/stuffed in wardrobes (supplied by me cause theirs were not available somehow!), with 1/3 hanging and the rest jammed in the bottom of the box. I had to send about ten suits and thirty shirts back to the cleaners for pressing. Worse still, Phil refused to lift boxes he had jam-packed and ended up putting a gash in my hardwood floors, which Murat, the foreman, suggested was "not too deep of a gash" (yes, I ate the deduction to my landlord's deposit). Most sad of all, I explicitly asked Murat to be careful with certain specific pieces of art and sculptures. I saw how he had boxed them and asked that he shore up the packaging he didn't even close the tops of three such boxes because the art was to tall... so he used plastic wrapping instead. Are you kidding me? So yes, this valiant crew broke my most prized art piece, which I discovered today as I slowly unpack. And yes, my heart is breaking. So thanks for nothing Murat and Phil, and if there was any way to undo that $150 tip I gave you guys out of the goodness of my heart I would. You are both incompetent, each in your own ways.

I am extremely happy with their service. Adam and Jamik helped us move our 1Bed unit from Cupertino to Sunnyvale. And they made it really smooth. Moreover this movers gave me a quote which is far better than many other movers. I am impressed. I highly recommend .

Oleg and Alex were my movers that help me move my stuff. They were very helpful and efficient. Both Alex and Oleg took the time to explain to me every step of the moving process. They went out of their way to please, and they sure did value my business. I am definitely going use this company again and refer all my family and friends. They make sure you are taken care of!!!
