Great experience working with NorthStar Moving. Everything from calling to get a quote, working with their staff on the phone, everyone was great in the process.  They were very clear about the charges and it was one of the best rates I got from a reputable moving company.  My job called for 3 guys and they arrived promptly within my morning arrival window.  They were professional, friendly, and efficient.  All of my furniture was wrapped and protected, boxes moved, bed and table disassembled and reassembled. My apartment was 3-4 levels up with no elevator and they navigated it with no issues or complaints!

Can't say enough about this team!  They're working like a well greased machine!  Third time using NorthStar & not disappointed!  Thank you again for a GREAT job & a GREAT team!  I first discovered NorthStar in 2014.  It was a very emotional move from San Francisco to San Mateo County to be closer to work.  It was a 2 destination job and they were terrific!  Had to move again and who else would we use?  NORTHSTAR!!!  Beatriz in the office is awesome and so nice to work with her again for move #3!  Our belongings may not be important to anyone but us.  The NorthStar Team makes you feel everything is just as important to them.  Keep up the GOOD work!  Go NorthStar!!!

I just had my single family home packed and moved from San Francisco to Oakland with NorthStar Moving and the crew from their San Mateo operation. I can strongly recommend them on the basis of my experience.Here's some details. I ordered a full service move for my house, which involved a day of packing and a day to load the truck and move. In the course of that process I worked with two different teams. The packers were ok, but not great. Courteous guys, but their "packing" job resulted in a lot of things that weren't packed. Some drawers in the kitchen with stuff still in them. Some shelves with stuff still on it, the bed not taken apart, and despite my request for them to clearly label everything, many boxes unlabeled. I was pretty grumpy when I came back from some errands at the end of the day to see what state they'd left things in.The next morning, the day of the move, another team showed up, and they were rock stars. They fixed everything that the first crew had left undone or done shoddily -- labeled everything,  packed the remaining items, etc. Then they proceeded to do an utterly fantastic job loading the truck, getting everything over to the new place, and putting everything in the right rooms. Attentive and responsive, always asking to make sure we were having a great experience. Roger and Cory and the crew were totally excellent, and tireless workers. I will use NorthStar Moving again. Hopefully not for another 10 years, of course. But strongly recommended.

Jason, Marvin , Bidal & Haitham were wonderful movers! We have used them in a move 5 years ago and happy we booked them again for this move. They were quick, efficient and careful with all the furniture and stuff. Very courteous customer service. I highly recommend them to everyone. Oh BTW, they did a video tour of our original home and gave a great estimate with a not to exceed amount so we knew how to budget unlike their competitors.

Haitham and two other guys came to move my boyfriend and I from one apartment to the next this morning. They were amazing!! I've used NorthStar Moving in the past and would one hundred percent use them in the future. They took amazing care of all our valuables, were fast, efficient and easy to work with. I was never worried that anything would be damaged during the move and they came prepared with extra tape and wardrobe boxes to make our move even easier!! They placed everything exactly where we wanted it and even took care of moving some extra heavy furniture. If you need to move any time soon, definitely use NorthStar!
