Little Orchard Self Storage

I needed a nice, reliable, clean and secure storage place for a couple of months to keep my excess stuff.  I contacted several storage places and compared the prices.  I had my plans set to see at least 3 in one day and Little Orchard was not even on the list but so glad that I stumbled on to this place. OMG!  I had NO regrets and so glad this accidental visit became my rental for my personal things.My first contact was with Edwin, I caught him as he was getting ready to get off work.  Instead of telling me to come back, Edwin gave me tour of several units and patiently answered any and all questions. I never felt rushed nor did he make me feel as though he needed to leave.  In fact, I was so impressed with the facility that I kept him way after his work hours - SORRY, Edwin.  He was so attentive and was able to hold the unit for me until I returned back to the area.  Friday afternoon 8/4/17, I called the Manager, Melissa to schedule for the move.  Melissa was so AWESOME!  A big shout out!!!!!  She was phenomenal.  I had to start my move between 12 and 12:30, even though I took Melissa's time away from her lunch, she was very gracious and so much fun to talk to.  She had all the information (from Edwin) about the unit I wanted and started the process right away.  She provided great information, very detailed, efficient, and thorough with the paperwork.  Not to mention, she was great in multi-tasking. I've learned quite a bit about the company which supports the veterans and other causes in the community. Love the compassion that the business upholds. That compassion also showed through from the direct staff working with customers.  They listen and really have the customers' interests in mind.  Melissa made sure I would get a great deal for my  unit.  She provided several options and I was so satisfied with the incentives/discounts that I ended up renting the unit for 6 months!  I even got a free lock!!! Great job, Melissa.  She was moving herself and ended up offering me a pallet that she did not need and her boxes that she used to move.  She helped me haul the pallet in the unit but when I decided I didn't want it, she helped me move it back out.  Wow!  Talk about accommodating....that is above and beyond her call of duties. Don't be fooled by her stature, she is quite STRONG!  Overral, I definitely recommend Little Orchard Self Storage.  The staff are wonderful, sensitive, and very attentive to your needs.  Every staff that I've encountered made me feel like an important customer.  Once you walk into the office, the place smells nicer than your department store fragrance section. SERIOUS!  Even if you are not renting, go and experience it yourself.The facility is very new, clean, secured, with well lit hallways and the conveniences of driving up to the unit and even if the units were inside, the structural of the place was so maneuverable.  The floors were so polished and not like most of the storages that I knew (bare concrete, yuck)!  This is the only place I would rent to store my stuff.  Talk to Melissa, she will help you what you need and gives you all the discounts she can pull out of her sleeves.  Oh, one last thing....she gave me a welcome bag!  Look at the picture!  What a nice touch, I would give this company and Melissa 10 Stars **********.  Thanks, Melissa!

I had the pleasure to go on a tour of this property. The hallways for the indoor storage spaces are wide for easy maneuvering of bulky items. It is also not the typical "indoor hallway spaces", instead, their hallways are short and you can see through to the opposite entrance/exit! Unless you're inside buildings A1 & A2 (which are their ADA storage spaces with even wider hallways for customers needing more space to move around). Bldg's E, D, and I hallways run straight across...no corners or angles that can become an inconvenience for larger pieces of furniture.The outdoor lights are also lit up in "bright white" which is a plus when moving in later in the day or into the early evening. Each storage space is also individually lit and operates on a sensor, so once you open the door, the light turns on for you! If that isn't cool enough, each storage space is individually alarmed for added security. The property has two restrooms for customers, one located just outside the office, and the other one located at the opposite end of the property at the left of the exit (Stone Avenue). The bathrooms require customers to key in their access code to enter, which is the same access code used to enter the property from the Little Orchard Street entrance. All in all, this storage property blows my mind! The entrance from Little Orchard St offers a wide driveway and clear path all the way to the end and exit of the facility. All storage spaces are ground level, the floors inside each storage space is polished with a shiny coat (goodbye to dusty floors!), the walls are metal, and all the doors are roll-up style for easy accessibility. I've visited many storage facilities, even rented at a few, but this storage property hits one out of the park! This is the new standard! New, clean, secure, convenient. I will be storing my belongings here!

Just reserved a storage locker today. Awesome brand new facility. Secure, armed units, great monthly rents and sweet location near the Plant on Tully / Curtner. Home Depot just around the corner for shelving, totes and packing supplies. Edwin and Melissa are helpful, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Two thumbs WAY up.

Such a clean and safe facility.   As a female, I have no qualms being there on my own.  Big plus... really nice staff!  I'm a newbie to storage so I had lots of questions.  They were so patient in answering all my questions.  I had to get the storage quickly and had no idea that most places in the bay area are at 96% capacity.  When I contacted other self storage places, they didn't have the patience to talk me through all the options.. some of them didn't even bother calling me back!  They have enough business so there's no need to.  It's fine, I'd rather give it all to Little Orchard Self Storage!  Five stars!
