Joy movers didn’t only move my stuff yesterday, but made sure my wife and I ( old couple) didn’t lift a thing.
1) they called and came early
2) sealed all boxes for us
3) disassembled and packed our beds completely
4) packed each and everything we told them with a smile on their face - no complaint AT ALL
5) were totally done in 4.5 hours but we paid for 5 and generous tips
6) in the new house they assembled the bed AND put the fitted sheets ( never have any movers done this for us)

7) language was no barrier. Lee was able to communicate pretty well

Moved to from North San Jose to Sunnvale with a quick stop at my other roommate's place in sunnyvale also. They finished everything (even bed assembly) in 4 hours ( 3 men ). Would highly recomend hiring 3 men for a quicker pack and move. Even though there are higher reviewed movers on yelp we went with Joy Moving because my friends used them not long ago. We were very satisfied with their service. Their pricing is very transparent. A flat rate + tips per hour. No gas mileage fee, no packing fees, etc.

We were told their arrival time would be 1-3 pm but they showed up 12:50. Guess we were lucky their morning shift was on time. Two gentlemen showed up, one from Taiwan, the other from North East China, where I came from. Very pleasant, pfofessional, very hard working...It was a pretty hot day and I offered water break and water melon to quench their thirst. Of corse, they really appreciated the thoughtful hydration. It took them 4.5 hours and I thought I'd just pay for 5 hours. They insisted on 4.5 hours so I decided to pay generous tips. I always appreciate the hard work/labor and could save money anywhere else but from this kind of service. We need them because we can't do or we don't want to do. So thank you guys! Highly recommended!

Even though there are higher reviewed movers on yelp we went with Joy Moving because my friend just used them not long ago.We are very satisfied with their service. Their pricing is very transparent. A flat rate + tips per hour. No gas mileage fee, no packing fees, etc. I found people complained about them blocking the driveway. Yes their moving truck is huge, but luckily we have space for them to park without disturbing our neighbor too much. Also people complained about them being late. I think if you schedule it in the afternoon, there's really no guarantee on their arrival time because it really depends on their morning job. That's why the morning slots will be gone fast. (We got the afternoon slot, but we're prepared)Mr. Zhang and Jin (our movers) are super hard working and take bare minimal breaks (even when we offered them to drink some water and rest). Although it took longer than expected (all 3 movers teams are booked, only 2 movers team left on the day we want), they completed the move without any hiccups and even with extra tips that we gave, its price is still super competitive.Anyway, they are very courteous and polite, accommodate our needs and we're all very impressed with the service (even without taking consideration of the competitive price)Tips: plan early so you can get the morning shift. if you have more than one bedroom, go with a 3 movers team.
