I have moved three (3) times and this, by far, is the smoothest and quickest move I've ever made.Moving from Redwood City to San Leandro with the amount of items I have can easily stress an average person out. The last thing 8 want to worry about is hiring a moving company that is late, unreliable, rude and unprofessional. This team (Luis, Luis and Tony) is anything but!As promise, they called 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Rather then calling in the middle of the window provided (9:30-11AM), they started early 9:15AM. Perfect! Once they arrival, just a few quick directions and they ran with it. Moved quickly, efficiently and professionally. Bonus: They seem to be in a very pleasant mood!They won my trust, so once I finished vacuuming the place and locked up I left first while they rearrange the truck before heading off.10 minutes behind me, they arrived to my new home. I showed them a quick tour and where to go, and once again - off they go! With little direction.I haven't been keeping up with my reviews so I thought I post it now before I get wrapped up with my professional and personal life.VerdictI would hire them again. From the move coordinator (Janice), to the movers, to the actual move - they were all excellent!Muchas Gracias for making my move so quick and painless!

We had a terrible experience with this company on our move from San Francisco to New Mexico - in summary they charged us 50% more than the original non-binding estimate and then held our goods hostage until we refused to pay the balance in cash.My top two pieces of advice for those of you considering moving companies:1) Only use a company that allows you to pay the entire balance with credit card.  This way you have some recourse if they try to pull something fishy.  Needless to say, with Go East it is cash only upon delivery.2) KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!  For interstate moves, refer to this document: fmcsa.dot.gov/sites/fmcs…  As for our experience - after a household inspection, we were quoted a nonbinding estimate of 660 cubic feet.  Several weeks later, when the movers arrived and the items were placed onto the truck, we were told the actual total was 930 cubic feet, resulting in a price increase of over 50% from the original non-binding estimate.The moving team in San Francisco told us they would re-measure the items upon arrival at the warehouse to ensure this was the correct amount.  This never happened.Several months later I call Go East to tell them we are ready to have our items delivered to us.  I explain that I still need to resolve the 660 vs. 930 issue.  I'm told they'll look into it and get back to me.  They never do.Just over a week later I get a call on a Saturday morning from the truck driver - he's arriving the next day between 10am and 3pm.  The truck driver doesn't work for Go East - he's from a Brooklyn, NY based company that has been contracted to deliver our items.  After corresponding with Go East a few times throughout the day (including a late evening phone call with the owner of Go East) I tell them I will only pay the non-binding estimate amount plus 10% upon delivery, with the remainder to be invoiced and payable within 30 days.  This is what the FMCSA regulations stipulate.  The owner keeps trying to negotiate with me, telling me he'll lower the price a few hundred dollars, but it's still substantially more than the original non-binding estimate.The next day, the driver refuses to unload the truck unless we pay the full amount (930 cubic feet) in cash on the spot.  After thirty minutes of haggling, the truck drives away with all of our items in hopes that we will panic and agree to pay the full amount in cash that day.10 minutes later I'm getting phone calls from both the owner of Go East as well as the boss at the contracted company trying to negotiate with me, but still offering a price higher than what I'm legally obligated to pay that day.  They threaten to take my items to Texas and place them into storage there.  I ultimately agree to pay around 25% more than the original non-binding estimate, and they then proceed to unload our items.Avoid the stress of putting yourself in a similar situation - pay a bit extra for a reputable company that follows the law.

Luis and Francisco were my movers today. They were easy to work with and very efficient on time and knowledge on what they were doing. Everything was wrapped and we'll taken care of NO damage!!! Love that! Janice Garcia was my rep who schedules everything. She too was great to work with. I highly recommend this company and team. Oh and loves the price. I shopped around and feel I made the right choice.
