On a hot summer day in 2003, a group of college buddies borrowed a beat up cargo van and dubbed themselves College Hunks Hauling Junk®.People in the neighborhood would call the «College Hunks» for anything that involved strong backs and a truck. Word quickly spread about a group of friendly, intelligent college students that could help move, donate, recycle and dispose of people's items. By 2005, the company became operational and a business was born.In 2007, College Hunks began franchising and, as a result, took off across the U.S.College Hunks South Bay began in 2010. We have prided ourselves on staying true to the company's core values, which brought the founders success. Our culture provides the South Bay with a clean cut collegiate team that strives to «WOW» every client. Today there are over 50 franchises in the U.S.

So stoked! Big thanks to Jorge, Brian and Juan for helping me close out my storage unit!!I had junk stacked in there since my move back to the bay 5 years ago. I had every good intention of cleaning it out, organizing and donating/selling items. I put a huge dent in that goal this past month but thanks to these guys it's now completely clear.They took care of the entire unit in about 15 minutes, hooked me up w a goodwill receipt and even swept it clean before they left.

Roped in through a "deal" button through yelp with a $100 voucher for $90, I purchased thinking the cost would be around that amount. When I called the company (who likes to repeat the phrase "stress-free day") I was given a breakdown of the pricing which was up to $585 for a full truck. I was wary to agree, but the person on the line told me that the truck was rather large and since I had already purchased the $100 voucher, I decided to go ahead with them. The truck that arrived was medium-size at best. With the amount of stuff I had they wanted to charge me $585 for the full truck and they probably wouldn't have been able to fit all of it in. With my budget, I couldn't afford that, but since they were there i told them to load whatever they could up to $300 including the voucher amount. After they loaded what they thought was the right amount of stuff (who knows?), 2/3 of what I had to go was still there. I signed out for $208 making the total cost $308. I tipped them $15 each in cash, but even then they didn't even bother to clean any mess from the area where items were removed. I now have a $325 dumpster in the driveway that could probably fit the entire truck they drove in.

These young men were clean, courteous, professional and extremely reasonable. My yard look like a junk Heap with debris of all sorts and they never complained they were cheerful and courteous through the whole mess. I especially like that they would stop and have a conversation with me about what needed to be done and if it was an extra charge ahead of time. Would definitely recommend this crew

I would say, it was our first time using College Hunk Hauling Junk. The Rep. name Steven had a positive attitude and great customer service but not only that they could find days that fit your schedule. The price is reasonable. As for the Hunks name Jorge, Ashtyn, and Robert that came to pick up our junks they we're respectful, greet you with positive attitude, great customer service and they get the job done so they could move forward to there next destination. If you want Junks out I recommend to call College Hunks Hauling Junk.
