I wish I could give more stars!!  These guys were great!We moved out of a really dark, smelly, building that had an elevator, but stairs from the first floor to outside.  Really a pain to move in and out of this building.  The guys were on time and courteous, and never complained even once.  I was quoted for 2 movers, but 3 came - I was not charged extra (thanks!!)  I learned that we were the 3rd move of the day for this crew, and that they still had 2 more after mine.  All I can say is that these men worked like it was the only "mission" they had for the day - they were quick and hard-working, and they had a great attitude.  We even joked around a little!  Usually, when you move, you expect a few things to get dinged up or broken - it is part of the process.  With anytime movers, I did have one break - a plastic charger plate...but I packed it badly, so it would have broken if I had moved it myself - and the item was only like a dollar at Michaels...no big loss.  My furniture - mostly Ikea (read: crap) was in the same condition after the move as before - no new scratches or dings!  These guys treated my stuff with such respect you'd think it was all high-end antique! Every step of the process was smooth, clearly communicated and easy.  The crew was well prepared.  I always have water on hand during moves, and when I offered each of them a bottle of water, they accepted it - but then later offered chilled water to me from the cooler they had packed!  When all was finished and it was time to pay - the rate was exactly what was quoted to me!  I've never had that happen!  I tacked on some extra for a tip - wish I'd had more to give them for such a great move.  This isn't "Big Name Moving Company" but these guys are so much better!  It felt like the old way of doing business on a handshake, and meaning it.  I will never hire another moving company again - Anytime Movers will be the crew I choose every time! This moving company is very unprofessional, as many others have said. They claim that their forms ask questions that they actually don't, and if you try to call them on it, WATCH OUT! The person I spoke with wouldn't let me get a word in, talked over me, and treated me in a very disrespectful manner.  His treatment was borderline abusive.Regardless of the situation, there's just no reason for that kind of behavior.I am not a huge military supporter, but my husband thought it would be nice to give these guys the work, and we certainly tried. I was also annoyed that the person I spoke with on the phone tried to shake me down for more money, and said rude things about other moving companies. I have since found out that they changed their name at some point, (if you notice the name they are listed as on here is not the name on their website.) Apparently, they were involved in some shady situations, and tried to give their company a fresh start with a new name. Yes, their prices seem great to start with, before they add in "hardship" charges, and a bunch of other extra fees. We were SO lucky, and were able to find another moving company less than 24 hours before our move. We may have paid a little more, but it was worth it.

Crazy bad experience with these folks. I moved from LA to the central coast and arranged for these guys to unload the truck upon my arrival. I had to call multiple times to confirm and they still wouldn't give me a solid eta. Two movers came around 1:00 (they had said "morning" but I let that go) one was great and the other was a jerk. He was upset because my house has stairs and he claimed I was supposed to indicate this on the uhaul site where I ordered their services. When I explained I never saw a place to indicate stairs he complained that the job isn't worth the price I was paying them considering the stairs and how far he drove. He was agitated and I tried to defuse the situation by explaining his company set the service area and prices, not me. He said, "I've worked with PEOPLE LIKE YOU" this isn't worth it and left my new house with all my stuff in the truck. I had to hire other movers and pay for extra days on my truck. It was a bizarre and negative experience. Funny thing is- I would have happily paid him more if he hadn't become so irate and disrespectful. I had no problems with the other moving companies I worked with. I'm still wondering what "people like me" are like... Wtf...

The owner commented "This is the same person posting under Amanda G & Kat C. They both are anti military. "Really? Amanda G is my wife, and he won't stop messaging her to change her review. As for me being anti-military: My godbrother is currently serving in Afghanistan. My Father earned a Bronze Star for his service as a fire base commander in Vietnam. My grandfather served in the army during the WW2 Japanese war crimes trials, and then went on to be a CIA agent. My other grandfather was a CPO on the USS Constitution, and won a Navy Cross. Hello everyone, I have given this company a low review. Before you disregard it, please let me be as objective as possible.I was hired by a software company with a moving stipend. I quoted numerous moving companies in the San Jose area and I felt Anytime Movers was the best choice based on Yelp reviews and the fact our money went to those in the military.I informed the organization that I would like them to move my things. They offered a flat rate of $400 ($300 for labor and truck plus $100 for stairs and elevators). I was also informed that I had to provide payment by cash (no checks or credit cards). I was unaware that payment were only to be made by cash. Given this, I asked that they provide an official paper statement with their name, address, phone number, and other verifiable information such that my software company can reimburse me. I was hoping to receive such a statement before of after the move. I felt this is extremely important because the money provided by my company needs to be verified. I stated to Anytime Movers that if this was not possible, they can cancel my confirmation.The next e-mail I received was a cancellation. I was appalled and asked why they did such a thing and was it because they couldn't provide a statement of what I've asked for. I received a harsh reply stating, "We move company workers every week & we are Marines & Soldiers. What more do you want.  We the #1 Rate Movers in the Bay Areas and you dare ask about who we are? There is a waiting list for clients wanting to meet Marines & Soldiers fighting for your Freedom."I have chosen another moving company since then.
