Trico Long Distance Movers

I am in the military and I made a last minute decision on shipping my vehicles to my new duty station for my PCS move.  I am writing this review to be as detailed with my experience as possible in order to help others with dealing with the stresses of shipping vehicles and hopefully help them make a good decision.  Just like everyone dealing with the stresses of moving I did my research on comparing quotes and reviewing others experiences with the moving companies they chose.  Ultimately I chose Trico Long Distance movers.  Here's why, my agent was Mr. Jim Watson.  He was professional, courteous and gave me detailed information every prospective customer is looking for and answered my 100+ questions I had in regards to both of my vehicles going across country.  The pricing he gave me was up front and exactly what he told me.  It included everything including the insurance their company provides, there were no hidden costs.  I paid what he said I was going to pay.  The driver was in contact with me 24 hours prior.  On the loading day we both together inspected my vehicles a 2012 Honda Odyssey and a 2014 Lexus IS250.  I took pictures of both my vics to document their condition on when they were picked up.  The driver contacted me once a day up to the delivery date like he said to give me a status on where he was at.  The best part was he contacted me and said he would be a day early and asked if it would be convenient for me.  For me it was more than convenient cause I saved a day off of my rental.  Vehicles came in one day early and both vics were in the condition from when he loaded them in.  I was extremely happy with the service they provided and their price was fair.  Again through the whole moving process deciding, choosing and waiting for the vehicles is really stressful and I wrote this review to let others know that with my experience you will not go wrong choosing Trico.  My review won't give you peace of mind but I'm sure it can assist with the company you choose.  I forgot to mention I PCS'd from Camp Pendleton, CA to Millington, TN.  I hope this review helps you.

We had our car shipped from Wisconsin to California. They delivered our car in 4 days. The pricing was very reasonable. If you are looking for vehicle shipping, Trico is your best choice. No doubt about it.

I organized with Trico to have my car shipped from Palo Alto, CA to Raleigh NC. I told them the date I would arrive in Raleigh and told them my car could get picked up any day before that, and we set up a pickup window. Note- Trico doesn't have their own shippers, they organize with other companies for the actual car transport. The driver that came to pick up my car was very nice and professional. However, 20 minutes after driving off with my car, the dispatcher for the actual shipper called to tell me that they would need to deliver the car before I was to arrive and if I wasn't going to be there they would just bring the car back to me right then. I then called Trico, who organized everything and chose the pickup window that would supposedly work, and they had no useful information to offer me and basically repeated what the shippers had told me. No offer to set up another shipper that could get the car there after my arrival, no apology, no acknowledgement of their mistake. The only plus to this company is that they are easy to reach by phone and you can talk to a human. I ended up having to pay to change my flight so that I would arrive before the car. Added unnecessary stress and cost to my cross country move. I would not recommend using Trico.

Great company to with. They made our move seamless. Tim and his team were informative throughout the process. Our car arrived as promised.

They are excellent. I would recommend them to everyone. During rush hour of moving they were able to accommodate a schedule with us. We moved from San Francisco to Oak Park. After signing the contract we didn't have to think for a while for our belongings. They took and bore on their shoulder the entire responsibilities during the move.The Full service moving team got the job done on time and except any trouble. Peter and Jake were super friendly. They made us weary free while picking up our furniture. They brought separate boxes for particular item like they used book boxes to put important books.Trico Long Distance staffs were courteous, clean and skilled at both ends. I am planning to hire them for my next move at the end of this year.
