A friend recommended Sullivan because she was so happy with the move they handled for her from San Diego, CA to N Carolina.  Likewise, they did a terrific job for my move from San Diego to Annapolis, MD.  John, the driver, carefully supervised the packing, inventory and delivery of my items. They were accommodating when - in mid trip-  I asked to delay delivery by two days when the schedule at my new job changed, so I did not have to take off any time. I know they cannot always do that but I really appreciate that they cared enough to work with me. The people I dealt with at Sullivan were absolute professionals who knew their jobs and helped me through this tedious process. The price was very good and the service impeccable.

I am moving from San Diego to Chicago.  While the idea of moving across the country sounds stressful, Sullivan made the experience totally painless!  Ricky, Matthew, and Danny made quick (90 minutes!) work of all my furniture, handled my stuff with care, and were highly personable.  I was blown away by their efficiency and good humor. Thanks, guys!

We used Sullivan United to move our household goods from Chula Vista to Green Valley AZ. It was packed and taken to the warehouse where it was unwrapped and stored until the truck was ready to deliver to Green Valley. I was notified the truck would deliver on 7/26 so I drove 6.5 hours on 7/25 to be at our home for Wednesday delivery. Less than one hour from destination I received a call that delivery wouldn't happen the next day. I turned around and drove back to San Diego with a rescheduled delivery for 7/29. My husband and I drove back to Green Valley Friday after work to be here for Saturday 7/29 delivery. A Mayflower Truck arrived at 8:00 AM and unloading commenced. It didn't take long to start seeing damage to my furniture. I took a picture of the inside of van to send to Sullivan claims department showing my leather furniture was not completely wrapped and protected- the driver had merely thrown a blanket over the top and stacked wood furniture on top unwrapped. A brand new leather sofa has damage that can't be repaired. A Queen Anne leg on my buffet was cracked and the edges scuffed to bare wood because it was scooted and turned on end on bare floor. An armoire was packed upside down so the crown molding was broken. I could go on and on about the damage. My advice is to ask many questions about how many times your belongings will be moved from truck to warehouse and back to truck. You need to definitely take the insurance. We are awaiting a third party to assess repairs/replacement of belongings. I forgot to mention we had two items never located.  I recommend using a different long distance company.

Instead of parking in the street next to their customer's apartment, they decided to pull into the fire lane, blocking my garage and blocking me in. Mind you, had they parked at the end of the building and not blocked my garage, they would only be a mere 20 feet away from the home where they were unpacking. Completely disrespectful and LAZY. After they were alerted that they were blocking my entry and exit to my garage they just pulled right back in and blocked my garage driveway again. Your drivers have a poor attitude and were extremely rude. Where do you get off completely blocking someone else's entry and exit to their home with no disregard? If your drivers can't be considerate and walk 20 feet to and from their truck to the home they are unpacking in order to not block other people's garage entry, then perhaps you should consider getting new employees.
