What can I say other than you guys definitely make sure that there were no damages to any of my things. I was looking for a company, that I could Count on, to make sure that everything would be delivered. Thank you for dealing with all of my questions, especially with Keith who over the phone was able to make sure that I would be ready to go within 2 to 3 days. I was very happy with the service. Did an amazing job of making sure that everything was delivered without any issues. I was especially happy that all of my belongings were safe and sound, and that there were no damages to any of my things. Thank you guys very much also making sure that you guys were able to stick with the quote, and my budget. Which is very important to me. Customer service was excellent, your movers are even better. I was moving, and the company that I had sued before never returned my call, so I turned to Yelp. I found Southbay Moving, requested a quote, and Justin called me a few minutes later. He gave me all the information quoted me a price, and we set a date and time.Eric called me to see if they could come earlier, which was good for me.  He and his partner took everything out, loaded it up, drove to my new place, unloaded everything and brought it in.They were fast, efficient, polite, have reasonable prices, and if I have to move again (but I hope not!), I'll definitely use Southbay Movers again.

Great customer service start to finish. Southbay Moving communicated professionally and honestly, and very personally. Emails were responded to and calls were returned promptly.  Never felt like I was one of many customers being shuffled and dealt with. Even made a date change within a week and it was no problem. Confirmation calls and email helps you rest assured.AK, Sean, and Aset - were on time, friendly, professional. They were work horses for sure wasting no time and worked very quickly.  I offered to help, and it was appreciated, but I was just in their way and slowed the whole process down^^. All three are experienced moving professionals that take their work seriously. You would not believe the amount of plastic used to wrap furniture for it's protection...very very nice. The best part...queen size bed would not fit up the stair case...no sweat, the team without hesitation rigged their straps and hoisted it up to the 2nd floor like it was routine.  I was impressed. Nothing was damaged in this move - a first for me.Overall, top notch service, professional, hard-working and experienced crew...you can't ask for better experience. I recommend Southbay Moving in Chula Vista, and would definitely use them for my next move (in fact, I'll be requesting AK, Aset, and Sean).

They got everything from home A to home B on moving day.  Took a little longer than I expected.  The quote they gave me was for 3 hours, so I estimated it would take 5 to add a little leeway.  It ended up taking 7.25 so the bill was larger than expected. Local move, only 3 bedrooms with minimal personal belongings to pack and only 25 minute drive between the two homes, I have moved these same items locally before for less with other movers.I paid 2 fees for large items (1 piano and 1 large, heavy armoire) and they took great care with the piano.  I loved how they checked that all of the keys worked before and after they moved it.  I know this protects them against me claiming it was damaged in transport, but it also gave me peace of mind that they checked it right away so I think they would have taken responsibility had anything changed during the move.The biggest dissapointment was that the armoire was quite heavy, but they managed to dent and scrape one wall in each the rental house we were moving out of and the home we moved into while moving the armoire.  Luckily I was patching some nail holes and painting over them as they were leaving the old rental home so I was able to quickly patch and paint the wall damage there to avoid getting charged for the damage by the landlord.  It also left a dent on the stair landing of our new home, so I need to buy matching paint to fix it here.  They did notice and tell me about both of those incidents, but I wish they would have offered me a little something in return for the inconvenience of the damage.  I'm not sure what that would have been, like $50 back on the total bill maybe, but it wasn't offered and these guys had been working for 7 hours at that point so I didn't want to seem ungrateful by complaining to them at the end of their day.
