So this was our first time ever, using a moving service. My husband and I usually just suck it up and do it ourselves. However, yours truly is currently pregnant, lol... so we finally decided it was worth hiring some help. We hired two guys to move from one 2 bedroom condo to another in the same complex (on a Saturday). Junior and Ray showed up on time and boy were they efficient. They're super strong and they don't waste any time. They were able to move all the boxes and dismantle/reassemble furniture as they went. There were a couple scuff marks on the walls/door frames here and there but honestly, that's to be expected--the important things made it to the new place fine. Plus, my painter was coming back to touch up anyway, so it didn't bother us too much. The best part? They kept us within the allotted time frame, so there were no extra unexpected costs and such.Totally worth it. If we ever have to use movers again, we wouldn't hesitate to call this company.Don't forget to take advantage of the Yelp deal, if there is one!

I hired SD Moving Services twice; once moving from my house to a storage unit and the second time a month later from my storage unit to my new place.  I had a great experience each time with helpful movers, electronic receipts and good communication with the staff manning the phones.First Move:  I hired 3 guys for 3 hours (minimum time).  They moved all my items and even took apart a storage shed I had in the back yard themselves.  While booking, the person on the phone was very helpful. I had two stops to make and they worked it in an order where I avoided having to pay an extra mileage fee.  I appreciate that since they were definitely trying to get me the lowest price (which is why, in addition to the good movers, I booked them again for my second move).  they also got all the work done within the three hours which was great.Second Move: I hired 2 guys for 3 hours.  This time I didn't have any extra stuff and everything had been packed nicely into the storage unit so I didn't think I needed 3 guys.  When I called, Michelle answered, and agreed that I didn't need three guys and that I should book 2 instead.  She also quoted me the rates for the cheapest moving days so I picked one of these days to move and saved myself some extra money that way.  They guys they sent were on time, worked hard, and got all my stuff moved out of my storage and into my new place in less than 3 hours which was appreciated since I had to go back to work as soon as they were done.Michelle followed up with me the next day to make sure my move went smoothly.  I wouldn't hesitate to call these guys again for my next move.  They had a good attitude, were professional, moved things quickly, and payment was easy, reasonable and straight-forward.  Highly recommended!

Awesome moving company, I highly recommend. Aziz and crew were quick, efficient and made our move very cost effective. They scheduled and set up our moving day quickly over the phone, while other companies didn't respond back for days. Hopefully we won't be moving again any time soon, but I will absolutely recommend this company to family and friends.

SD Moving Services provided an excellent experience from start to finish. Otabek and Rasul were prompt, efficient, and very nice. I'm so grateful for their service and professionalism.

TJ, Russel, and John were great. Careful with furniture and fast moving. Would recommend and use again.
