Purchased a couch on Saturday and needed help to move it to my new apartment. Contacted about a dozen different companies for pricing and availability for same day service.  Most places quoted me ridiculous delivery fees that cost more than the couch itself.  Luckily, I found SD Direct Delivery & Assembly.Cesar (the owner) was professional and very accommodating. The price was fair and delivery was able to be done for the time requested. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of care that was put into moving my one little couch. The entire process was fast and efficient, they even wrapped up the couch.Cesar also kept in contact with me in regards to arrival time for pick and delivery which was great! Given the opportunity, I try to support independently owned companies whenever possible.  If you're in search of finding a reputable moving/ delivery company in San Diego, definitely give SD Direct Delivery a try! Cesar was great!  I had five pieces of furniture that he and his crew assembled as well as furniture needing to be moved and they did a great job.  It was done quickly and efficiently and the assembled furniture was perfect.

Cesar is incredibly prompt, respectful and kind!  He and his team always provide amazing service.  They  deliver and assemble items from Pottery Barn, too which is a plus for me since I have a slight addiction to their things.

I contacted Cesar in March for a quick room switch with my roommate and I. Not only did he call 20 minutes before his arrival as a polite update, but he was ON TIME. My furniture was the cheap ikea kinda which takes about 40 mins to disassemble and reassemble, however, my roommates furniture is heavy and old, meaning it takes more time and strength. For only Cesar and his worker, they were done extremely fast and assembled everything perfectly. Both my roommate and I were extremely happy! Then, I called Cesar about 2 weeks ago to do a move from one apartment to another. Since my furniture was so small and I was moving down the street, he managed to work with me to get a price that accommodated the move, which, if anyone knows what it's like to just move the small amount of furniture from one room of an apartment to another apartment, you'd know that movers charge at least $400. But not Cesar, he understood that the job and move was small and didn't take advantage. Cesar was quick, polite, and great with communication. I'm definitely rehiring when I move again and I'd recommend him to anyone!!!!

After spending too much time negotiating a quote with another company that ultimately led to a confusing and frustrating end, I called Cesar and was refreshed by his enthusiasm, clear communication, and extremely reasonable price (the other company wanted to charge me the same amount for half the work and insisted I wouldn't find a better deal in town).  Cesar and crew were fast, efficient, thorough and professional - they'll definitely be getting my business again in the future should I need moving and/or furniture assembly.
