We used Pro Moves on consecutive days to combine two separate apartments into one new place, and it was awesome.The morning of the first move, an extra-large truck shows up with two guys that clearly knew what they were doing. They were very professional right off the bat, and had no issues with what could have been a difficult situation near the OB Pier.George was the lead guy for both moves. You could tell right away he's good at his job. He's like Luke Cage if he was played by Charlie Murphy. Not much of a talker, but that only added to the aura. This dude carried a 3-person couch over his head about 300 feet by himself, then the next day did the same with my girl's couch down a steep flight of stairs. I didn't get a chance to see it he was also bulletproof, but I don't see any reason to believe otherwise.Good price for the service, and they were super easy to work with for a quote beforehand. I'm definitely looking forward to George making me feel inadequate the next time we move.

Great movers. George and Casper were professional, courteous, and respectful. Moving out of a first floor apartment to a 3-floor townhouse was done with ease, and without any damage to the furniture or the walls. The move took an hour more than the allocated time, but understandable. Will definitely call them again if needed. Highly recommended.

Moving sucks.  But it sucks a lot less when you hire Pro Moves.  I called and spoke with Art.  He was polite and courteous.  He advised me that the Groupon deal I saw wasn't really a deal at all.  2 guys/1 truck/2 hours for $69.  In that "deal" the time starts when they leave their yard and ends when they return.  That significantly eats into the actual moving time.  He offered 2 guys/1 truck/3 hours for $175 cash ($200 debit/credit).  The time does not start until they arrive and start your move.  Art told me I would receive a call from the movers before they left their yard.  Just as scheduled George called to say they were on the way.  George and Jonathan arrived exactly on time.  They checked out the move to see what they were up against and immediately got to work.  Refrigerator, keg-er-ator, king bed, two dressers, two curio cabinets, a bar, recliner, couch and a BBQ grill.  Everything was carefully wrapped and secured.  They treated our stuff with care and they were respectful of us.  They loaded up, delivered to our new house and off loaded well within the allotted three hours.I hope I don't have to move any time soon, but if I do I am definitely calling Pro Moves.  George and Jonathan kicked ass!

This is a small company, I've used a big company before and I now prefer supporting small businesses. The owner Art is really nice! We found him on Groupon and he offered a better deal. The quote was for 3 hours and he finished in 2 hours. We moved from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom upstairs. He gets the job done and doesn't try to nickel and dime you! I appreciated that so I made sure to give him and his coworker a tip! I used a big moving company before and they tried to take every penny. Next time I move I'm calling Art!

UPDATE: after my review was placed, the driver tried to call me first thing in the morning. I had no desire whatsoever to talk to him. Finally after calling the business multiple times I got to speak to the owner. Who's response was "I know the guys did a horrible job" he said he would reimburse me for the stained mattress, I didn't realize until days later that they damaged my washer, and also to call a carpet cleaning company to remove the stains from the carpet and he'd also reimburse me for that. Well I mailed everything and I never got reimbursed. Companies like this one are just too much of a hassle to deal with. I just don't have the time and energy to deal with greedy people.
