On Point Moving

Preparation is everything...and that's on the home-owner.  In our case, three of us had done significant packing and had a game plan.  This was in their early days and the crew of two efficiently moved the home goods from SD to Lemon Grove with one crew member change (the guy had an appointment scheduled elsewhere) and the owner even showed-up at our destination to check on the move and help-out.  I was impressed.  This was a move of an 1100 sq/ft home chock full of possessions.  I will not hesitate hiring the "muscle" when I move my stuff to another state.  They will be welcome help loading that large UHaul!

They were amazing. They arrived and got to work quickly. They took good care of all our stuff and made sure to wrap everything to avoid damage. Chris and Hawaiian Ryan were nice and friendly and worked so hard to ensure our move was efficient and smooth. I have used this company before and will use them again. I highly recommend them if you ever need to move. Their prices are on point!

The movers were great conversation but after unpacking a few items i couldn't help but realize that THEY PUT MY DEAD GRANDMOTHERS PLANT INSIDE OF A BOX!!! Hawaiian Ryan and Chris were my movers.  I was charged 511, paid in cash.  After i saw that crap i started thinking of all the smoke breaks i was paid for.  When i would lose track of them (not stand and watch them) i would find them inside of their truck smoking. Cool dude. Then! I get a call from the apartment i moved out of saying that some MY THINGS were left outside of the elevator. Called Ryan and went straight to voicemail 3 times. I left a message and never got a call back.

On Point was the worst experience of our move. They were over 6 hours late and made nothing but excuses why they wouldn't be able to finish in one day. We moved a small one bedroom condo to a much larger two bed. We had a lot of stuff but not many big items. No refrigerator, no oven, and most everything was prefixed in tubs. Ryan was efficient and did an ok job. However, when the next day came around they kept pushing us later and later in the day until they couldn't make it out. One day beyond what we were supposed to be out!Next day (day 3), more excuses to why they couldn't come out first thing in the morning. Very bad communication and when I reached them, I was blamed for their inability to meet their commitment. This was a Sunday. By about 2:00 PM I started calling around for friends and a rental. Ryan called me back and lectured me to why it was my fault. Ryan, just an FYI, I am the customer, you are the professional mover and your company should have been able to set better expectations. Also, your company did not make me a priority when you could not make the complete move by the second day.Finally Sunday late afternoon another company could have a crew out Monday at 8:30 AM and was on time, sent 4 guys, was completely finished before noon and charged the same as what On Point did even though their rates we're a little higher.Chris, the owner/dispatcher is a crook. When I was calling around for other companies to finish the job Chris answered for another company name and knew who he was talking to. He was rude and tried to rip me off for the cost. He should not be allowed to have a business license, especially where dealing with customers. I will also be making a report with the BBC.I only gave a 1 star report because I cannot do zero. You obviously do not value your customers and should not be in the service industry.
