I will definitely recommend Dominant Moving Service to everyone with moving needs as I was very pleased with my experience with them! We had a last minute move and Jaymes was easy to reach, responded to all my messages and was very personable. They gave me a great quotation for my needs. They were on time and, not wasting any minute, hustled to wrap our furniture for protection and loaded them to the truck. They were quick.And when we encountered  a problem while in transit, they handled it professionally. Next time we need movers, they'll be the one I'd call.

After researching tens of moving companies, I decided to hire Dominant Moving Systems for my move. Not only because of their great reviews on Yelp and other sources, but also because their knowledgeable sales employee, who with his professionalism convinced me that I would have a stress free move. And he kept this promise. Everything went smooth and with no damages. He also surprised me by recommending me a place to buy boxes that would be cheaper that their company. It says a lot about customer service.My move was what I though is complex and difficult but was so easy for Dominant Moving We were moving from 5000 square feet 2 story 5 bedroom house in Del Mar to 4 bedroom house in Bay Park. My team of 5 movers was great. They showed up on time with 2 Giants trucks and all wore clean blue and red dominant shirts. (Very professional). It took 8 hours for 5 guys to move my 5 bedroom house. Two trucks were completely filled with furniture and boxes. The guys were great very experienced and motivated to work. These guys took care of every piece of furniture like it was their own. They even wrapped my furniture with pads and shrink wrapped to keep it away from damages. I was very surprised about their efficiency and work ethic! Two thumbs up to dominant. The office staff was amazing as well very friendly. I will definitely be using them in the future.Since I've used them I have told all my friends and family. My business partner and friend called them a few weeks after I did and he had a great experience as well, even the team was completely different from the one that was moving me and his place is an apartment with scenic ocean view.

This review would be negative stars if it was possible. We booked with this company because the reviews seemed fairly good. Booking was not a problem. We booked ahead of time. We got the confirmation call the day before. We booked 3 men to move us from a two bedroom apartment to a single family home 3 miles away. The problem started the day of. Two people arrived at my apartment and stated they were one man short because the third person was a no show. I understand that this happens, but this is a problem. I was upset that now this move was going to take longer since they were one man short. I was on a time frame to move out the apartment, since I can only block an elevator for a 2 hour time limit. They called their boss James to "straighten" it out and had me call him. When I finally got a hold of him, he was so rude and disrespectful to me on the phone. He told me that if I didn't want them to move that I should find another company and send his men on their way. I asked how much longer it would take and he told me that he didn't know since I had so much stuff. (Which is exactly why I booked 3 people and not 2) I told him when I moved to the apartment I had 3 men bring all of my stuff and put together all of my furniture in under 3 hours. He then said " well why didn't you call that company to move you". He also told me that another guy was a no show at another move for a 4 bedroom house that his company scheduled that same day. I don't see how that was any of my concern.  But I told him he should be better staffed. He told me they have 12 on the team. That doesn't sound like a lot of people in case someone calls out of work or if they have multiple moves. I had no choice but to use this company. How else can you get a moving company the day of a move?  It took over 6 hours to move out of my apartment and into my house and they didn't even fit everything in the truck.  I understand moving out takes longer than moving in. I had to make multiple trips with two SUVs back and fourth after paying a moving company to move my stuff on my own time.The actual movers David and Marvin did a great job. They really tried to hustle and knew how upset I was about the whole situation. This negative star review was definitely not about them. This is for the customer service from James. You don't treat your clients/customers with such disrespect. I would never recommend this company. They pulled a fast one on me so I ended up paying more for the move and still wasted more time moving the rest of my stuff out of my apartment.
