When I needed a Craigslist sofa bed purchase moved to my home, I chose Dolly to do the job.  They had great reviews and offered fast service.  I entered my info into the app right at the point of purchase and received a reply before I left.  I was thrilled.  After I returned home, I received a call from the seller saying that the movers had arrived but didn't seem to know how to handle fine furniture.  She and her helper coached the driver to tie up the the mattress so that it wouldn't unfold during the move and helped lift it onto the truck, as the mover's assistant wasn't strong enough. The movers arrived at my house in a timely fashion and gave friendly introductions.  Then they announced that they had never tried to move a sofa this heavy and would not be able to bring it into the house.  I was horrified!  I asked them what to do, and they said get other movers.  Distraught, I paced around for a bit and the driver suggested we look at where it would go.  I showed him, and he said that the hand truck he brought would scratch my hardwood stairs.  After more time and distress, he and he female helper  brought in the sofa and managed to carry it downstairs and put it in place with no damage.  It was a huge struggle for them.This service is a great idea and concept, but it needs better management.  Matching workers to jobs needs to ensure that workers are up to the task, and have all the required supplies to do the job.  Mine ended well, but there was coaching and lots of distress involved.

Very easy to use. Don't get the system mixed up with Uber. This app's point A location is regarding where the furniture is at. Not where you are.

Highly recommend! Where else can you get help like this at such an awesome price? The answer is no place. I love the service and will use Dolly over and over again. My helper was on time, polite, conscientious, and a very hard worker.Every time I use Dolly, I am even more impressed!

I found out about this service at Crate and Barrel outlet. It's a great app for people who shop furniture impulsively and need a quick delivery truck. All you do is download the app order a truck and Dolly takes care of picking up your item and delivering it to you desired location. I was so surprised I found such an amazing service. As long as you make sure your furniture is wrapped well, this moving service is like Uber for furniture. Tony picked up my sofa and was quick and efficient. I would recommend this service.

My helper showed up between the time scheduled.I could tell this was something he was not use to doing. He looked like a very clean cut college young man. Kind of quiet but proper. He did not freeze! He thought quickly and took off to Home Depot. Returning fast and fully equipped. My armoire is quite a heavy and cumbersome unit but, between the two of us; we conquered.I felt in my heart that because he was so nice and proper, he deserved a chance.I don't regret it.
