Day and Knight Moving

We interviewed 3 moving companies. Blake, the owner of Day and Knight Moving personally met with us and gave us his bid (NOT the lowest).  Blake sold himself to us and in doing so he sold his company.  Cory and Robert, two AWESOME young men showed up at our door ON TIME the day of moving. I watched as they cared for my belongings as if everything were theirs. They methodically packed that truck so everything was safe and secure for the 10 hour drive.They arrived at our destination again, right on time and again moved everything with care. Not only did they put my bed together, they also put the bed skirt back in place! The company is an EXCELLENT company but it's only as good as it's people and these were 3 amazing people. I don't think I've met two nicer young men than Cory and Robert, wish I could have kept them but Blake said NO. There is NO WAY anyone could complain about this moving line or it's people.  THANK YOU Blake, Cory and Robert.

I hired them a while ago to move a bunch of furniture, artwork, etc  from my mother's home in OC to her senior residence apartment in Encinitas. I got the father/son team. They were wonderful. Sensitive to my mother's difficulty about moving, careful with all her items, respectful at all times and just a pleasure to work with. The website doesn't exactly reflect what to me was great about them - respectful, friendly, careful, concerned, great with seniors.

We had a wonderful experience with Day and Knight Moving and would definitely hire them again. We moved from Encinitas to La Costa and the day could not have gone smoother, the team was prompt, courteous, patient and hardworking. I love that this is a local, family owned business, not a large booking company that hires day labor. The team we worked with took their time and was very careful to not ding our furniture or walls, I felt like our belongings were in very capable hands. They even disassembled and reassembled our heavy dining table and california king bed frame.Thanks again!

WOW! I could not have been more impressed with this moving company. They did an amazing job!!! They never rushed anything, they were so kind, helpful, professional! They worked from 9-7:30, never complained. The two guys that moved me had such great attitudes. It really made the stress of the day not so bad. I not only had a house full of stuff, I also had a lot of potted plants. They did a GREAT job with my plants. Before they left for the long day, they continuously asked if they could do anything else for me or if I wanted anything moved to a different place. I was SO impressed with the entire day and the two guys that moved me.  Thank you day and knight. I couldn't imagine using anyone else for future moves.  If you want hard working movers with great attitudes and a high level of professionalism,  day and knight is the company to use.

We couldn't be more impressed with this company. I have moved several times and have had the opportunity to work with several large moving companies. Working with Day and Knight was by far the best experience we have had. The team was very accommodating as our closing date changed numerous times. In addition, they were prompt, they hustled, and you could tell they cared about our moving experience.  To top if off, it was a blazing hot day and they did not slow down. We have already recommended this company to our closest friends and will be using them for all moves going forward.
