The independent contractors that came to our house to pack and move our household goods were amazing. Fast, efficient, friendly and very hardworking. There was a group of four men and our stuff began its journey within 3 hours. They were careful with our belongings and made us feel comfortable putting it into their hands. Now we just hope that it arrived safely to Alaska! The independent contractors was a Herrera moving company based out of San Diego. They were awesome!

This company is headed up by scammers! I wrote a review on their website and they didn't even let it remain. So, they only show what good things people have to say! Scammers!!We have moved cross country four times. Three times, we moved without incident. But the fourth one   with Coleman was a nightmare from the start and seemingly will never end.  We had problems with every single aspect of the transaction, with the exception of the truck driver and the unless adding crew. They we're all delightful. But, they are not employed by Coleman. So, there ya go. There were contract problems, problems with the packing and loading, not receiving all of our belongings timely and so very many broken and missing items, including irreplaceable family heirlooms.  There also multiple paintings that cannot be replaced that were ruined from not being even wrapped in paper and being shoved against the wall of cardboard boxes. My husband's bicycle was taken apart and parts are missing. Frames broken, mirrors broken, furniture broken, complete boxes missing. The entire experience was an absolute NIGHTMARE that keeps continuing.  It will be some time before we can complete a claim form as we are still unpacking. Just one of the many problems: Our contract was to have included unpacking because I had to leave town shortly after arriving to care for my adult daughter who lives in another state and was having a scheduled surgery.  The salesman acknowledged that it was to be included and that it was even in the notes from our meeting. But, he just "forgot" to include it. So, even though their price was similar to others, it didn't include all of the same services. And, when we contacted the company on the day of our move-in, we were informed that it "wasn't in the contract." They offered to give us a quote for these additional services. But, it would take a few days for them to get the services in place. They were unbelievably unconcerned!Just don't use them.  Save yourself the nightmare!

Coleman America finally paid up and I received a check for the full judgement of $7,695.00. Don't walk away from this company.....RUN.  Trust me,  don't ever use them to move your belongings.

The overcharge was finally taken care of last week.I suggest that everyone do their research on moving companies and make sure they have good reviews !!!

Unfortunately, we have not had the greatest experience. Our movers, which had a different logo on their truck than Coleman (not sure if they outsourced) complained about how heavy our furniture was at the walk through. They then proceeded to drop several items through the day. One of the gentleman actually drove the hand truck off the top of the ramp and, of course, the top box was marked fragile. I emailed our sales rep and he said we had moving insurance. Yes, but I would like for things to be moved correctly and with care, so I don't need to use it. They charged our credit card upfront and I had to ask for the bill to see what the actual weight was after not receiving any communication for a month. At that time, I had to argue some of the charges and overall due to weight and services not rendered, we were told we would get a refund. It is now over 3 months after our move and over 2 months from being told we would get a refund and nothing. I email with no response. I call and I am told they don't know why we haven't received our refund (of ~$1000) except that maybe its due to this being their busy time. If our furniture wasn't in their storage, I would not have them move us to our final location!
