Just moved today and I have to say, I am really glad I did it through West Coast Movers Co because the movers, Mirko and Daniel, were awesome!! They did such a good job and were very careful with my stuff as if my things were their things. Really honest and hardworking guys. Both of them were super chill and were super sweet. Really glad Mirko and Daniel were my movers, the poor guys suffered through all my stairs with such good spirits! I definitely will comeback when I need to move again!! I would definitely recommend moving with West Coast Movers Co. They made moving so easy for me!!

Like most of you, I scoured the internet looking for a moving company and after chatting with Jay & his team via email (they were super responsive, nice & clear) -I locked in West Coast movers. They showed up on time & would have actually been early but they had issues with the address (GPS problems). I hired 3 men for the minimum of 3 hours for my 1 bedroom move & it ended up being closer to 5 hours (stairs were involved). At a couple points, I felt like I had to check in on things, but overall it was a good move. That was until we unloaded and I noticed a few things were broken. Now here is where I believe companies set themselves apart. It's easy to give 5 stars to a business when nothing goes wrong - to give 5 stars to a business when there's been an issue takes work. After unpacking everything, I contacted West Coast Movers to let them know some things had been broken & left a voicemail over the weekend. In a matter of minutes, someone called me and asked me to send over photos of the broken items & apologized for the inconvenience. After I submitted my photos, Jay & his team moved so fast & were so kind about fixing the situation. Within 2-3 business days I had a resolution with really no significant hassle on my end (I do need to replace a few things but at least that is the only headache in this situation vs. dealing with rude service people or getting the run around). I'm waiting on the delivery of the final agreement & will update once this is resolved but all things are pointing to a quick resolve - which is the best thing you can hope for.  All of these things considered, I would recommend West Coast Movers. Handling a mistake with such great customer service makes me feel like I'm in good hands in the event a mistake happens & this is life so it's bound to happen.

They quoted $95/hr for card, which is high, but on the high end of standard for LA, so I expected our lovers to be professional. They get to my apartment  (later than scheduled) and immediately start complaining about it being on the second floor, like that's something totally unheard of. I get that it makes their job more difficult, but it's kind of part of the gig.Then one of the guys says, "you said this is a one-bedroom," and I say "it is." He says, "there's the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom." And I, in disbelief that this could be coming out of the mouth of a professional mover, say "that is the definition of a one-bedroom." His response: "that's not logical."That's when I really knew I was in for some problems.So every half hour or so, one of them is complaining to me or my wife about the stairs, while every so often dropping a hint about how they really make their money on tips. It ends up taking SIX HOURS to pack up my apartment in Long Beach. I have done the exact same move and it took four hours, and I had gotten rid of stuff since my last move. Then it takes an hour and a half for them to get to LA from Long Beach, a forty-five minute drive for my wife and I, of course charging us double the whole time.I call the supervisor during this interminable wait and nothing gets done. They finally get to our address and it's the same thing all over again.THIRTEEN hours after they've started, they finally are done. After playing some games about calling his supervisor, I finally get a 5% discount out of them, but I cannot stress enough that I have done this EXACT SAME MOVE before, with more flights of stairs, and it took four hours less.I was completely fleeced.

I opted to hire two movers and one truck to relocate my less than 1k square foot 2 bedroom 2 bath condo.  In hind site I probably should've hired 3 guys.  It moved a little slowly considering most of my belongings were packed in sturdy new boxes and stacked neatly in the front room.  But like I said,  I should've hired 3 movers.Everything went well,  nothing damaged or broken and the guys were very professional.

Not too bad! Ivan and Shaln were the two guys that helped. They called an hour before arriving and packed everything up in a timely manner. They even provided tall boxes for for all my clothes on hangers. The only thing I wish they did was label the boxes because as of now I'm not sure while I'll be unpacking.
