I don't often write reviews, but this is an excellent company, and it's hard to find careful, honest, hard working and skilled movers at a reasonable price, and these guys fit the bill!I haired them to move my stuff from my full storage unit in Hollywood to a new larger storage unit in Culver City, and to stop at the house in Culver City to pick up more items to take to storage on the way.  They charged me a very fair price, although they brought 3 movers, when I had originally requested two, but it turned out that  three movers worked out better for me, and the time constraints we were working with.They didn't waste time, we're  helpful in packing items the needed to be packed for transport, and brought along several large wardrobe boxes that I was able to use during the move at not additional charge.At the end of the move, nothing was missing or stolen or broken, as had been the case with other movers I made the mistake of hiring before.So, I would recommend these guys highly, and would use them again in a heartbeat!

DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAM!!!I used to have multiple pictures of the way they delivered my stuff...one of which being that my mattress arrived UNCOVERED HANGING FOLDED OVER THE BACK OF THE TRUCK! Not to mention missing a box and one of the movers saw they broke a 900 dollar table and CRAZY GLUED IT TOGETHER!You can't believe ANY of these reviews as A YEAR later, they are still calling to harass me, bribing me to take my review down--bribing-NOT COMPENSATING for all of the damage they have caused...and after taking the review down I NEVER RECEIVED A CHECK. Even if they had sent it, it wouldn't have compensated for their horrendous service and treatment of my belongings.I know I am not the only customer who has had this experience as others have messaged me on yelp as well. All truthful reviewers have been harassed until they remove their genuine review. The lost a box, half my stuff arrived broken or damaged three weeks later for 10 grand. If are looking for someone reasonable who takes accountability for their terrible service, steer clear. They will be harassing you for the next year. I'm talking 4 calls in a row even if I don't answer.

These guys are the real deal. I called at 530pm on a Friday to request a quote for next day (knowing how impossible it would be to get guys available for Saturday morning in LA). I spoke to Grant and he gave me a quote AND told me that they CAN do it next morning! I was soooo impressed! I told him that I was moving 40 miles and he told me there would be a fee of $100 for the trip. Understood. Moving day: Two guys showed up at the scheduled time with a wardrobe box and extra boxes at no charge and tape and plastic wrap and went to town on the big items first while I packed my clothes and kitchen items in the boxes. Within 2.5 hours, they packed an entire one bedroom apartment and met us at the new place 40 miles away! They unloaded and made sure that there wasn't a scratch on our things. These guys were made to lift heavy things. And they are truly good people. My husband and I could not have done the move without them. Thanks United Movers! we'll be seeing you in 6 months!

I was asked to write a review by the two guys who helped me out this last Sunday. I called Saturday night at around 8pm - obviously I had not thought my move out. United moving company picked up my call and agreed to help me move the following morning. I appreciate how promptly they agreed and organized my move, despite it being so last minute.As promised, they arrived at the Public Storage where I was moving my things from. In fact they were early (crazy I know)! I was only moving a studio size room worth of things so I know it wasn't a hard move. Having said that, they were very meticulous and careful with how they handled my things. There was a point where they didn't come down to the truck for about 20 minutes and I was getting worried. I went up to check on them and they were carrying my glass table top like it was a living thing - which was honestly pretty hilarious.I am torn on giving them 4 stars or 5 stars, because of this - the move took almost the entire 3 hours, despite the number of things I had that were heavy being very limited (the largest things I had were an empty dresser and my mattress). My initial expectation was that they would be done within 2 hours, but maybe I'm just being unrealistic. However if they were to have rushed it, maybe I would've complained that they weren't being careful enough with my things. Because of this I've come to the conclusion that I'll grant the 5 stars.All in all I am very pleased with my move. For anyone's reference - I paid $270 total (there is a minimum 3 hours charge, I paid cash so it was $79 an hour, and I used their $20 for $50 deal. There were some miscellaneous costs like gas that they charged me for which ended up in the total of $270). I would recommend these guys if you want a careful, responsible, and diligent moving company!

I highly recommend them! They lifted everything so quickly and anything I asked was no problem. I called them the night before I had to move and they were ready the next day and very accommodating throughout the entire experience. Even with my leasing complications, having to be held up and parking the truck far away from the actual building, they made it work and even helped me feel better during the hassle. Hands down the best two guys in the business.
