Moving is usually stressful, but not with this moving co. This is the 3rd time I've used Transunion van lines. They are consistently professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and VERY reasonably priced. Their rep Sam is superb too. Most recently, Edward and Murad moved my Dad from one apt. to another and we couldn't be happier with them. So nice, so quick and left everything in clean, unharmed condition. They took care of everything. I didn't have to worry about anything. They made the move SO easy.  They're pros-they know what they're doing. They picked up our stuff on the day we requested, three men showed up on time and they were very fast and efficient. We had packed our own boxes and I made sure they were all taped with my last name just to make sure but the company also has their own system of labeling them. None of our boxes got lost, they all arrived and nothing was broken. We bubble wrapped the crap out of any delicate things. We packed them tight and with care. And all the furnitures that the Transunion van lines men wrapped, they were also done with great care, they all arrived and nothing got damaged. Now the best part, our stuff arrived in 5 business days! Which we were very happy about because we were told it could take up to 15 days. The two men who delivered, unloaded and assembled our stuff were also efficient and easy to work with. I offered all men who helped with my moving to and from a decent tip and a bottle of water. They work so hard and they all deserved it!Recently again I used Transunion van lines Moving Company and they were excellent!  Sam sale rep is helpful, Edward and Murad the movers were professional, quick and careful.  They disassembled my furniture, wrapped it to ensure it was safe and then assembled it again at my new place.  They made the move easy!!!  Would definitely use them again!Overall, I would recommend this company. They did what they said they would, this part was important to me and stayed on top of communication. There are so many other things to worry about when you are relocating to a different state, the last thing you want to worry about is getting your stuff there. I'm glad I went with Transunion van lines.

WARNING, WARNING.  do not do business with ALEX from TRANSUNION VAN LINES, LLC,  He will give you one price and triple the price after he has your furniture . he never honored the sigh contract I had with coastal moving group.1- First Alex and his helper show up and demand cash after they have my furniture on their  truck. when Alex,  demanded cash i offered to paid with a credit card or personal check, he threated to dump my furniture out on the street.  What a rude and unprofessional person. 2-  I had all my belonging already packed and shrink wrapped, all they had to do was pick it up from another storage unit where they were stored.  Eduardo one of the driver insisted he had to repack my boxes again to assure they would not get broken on transist.  i offered them my shrink wrap some boxes and tape, but he  insisted on useing their own supplies and then charged me for it, which I was charged an addition 300.00 for material plus labor.3-After calling every other day to ask for my inventory list , and final invoice . which to this day 2 month has gone by and i still haven't received my inventory list .4-  I contacted the the Federal dept. of transportation , and the next day Alex calls and was mad that i filed a complaint.  I did because I couldn't get anyone to return my calls, neither Coastal Moving group or Transunion Van Lines, LLC,  and the outrages price I was given after they had my furniture.  My cost went from 3800.00 to 6100.00 to take my belonging 747 miles from California to Utah.   First I was given a quote by Eduardo, for Cubic feet which would of only been 4100.00, but then Alex decided to charge me by weight which brought the cost up to $6100.00. What a Scan.5.   I went through about 10 different phone numbers trying to reach transunion van lines, to try to speak to the owner, which later I found out that the owner is Alex.  Even Coastal Moving Group reps.  washed their hands and would not assits me.  6.  My furniture was finally delievered this past weekend and the driver would not open the doors of the truck for me to see if it was my stuff he was delivering.  Max the driver said, I had to pay the balance in cash and then he will open the doors, or i don't get anything.7.  Max then contracted two young men standing at 7-11 to help unload the truck.  i paid for professionals to handle my furniture and belongings and it was nothing like that.8. The rest was a total nightware, my boxes had been opened .  the boxes marked china and crystal ware were all crushed and  all my furniture was damaged. 9.  My Ethan Allen china cabinet looked like someone had gotten a knive or axe to it.   the front facings of the drawers had been hacked with a sharp object right through the shrink warp. 10.  My matching dinning table with the six chairs were either broken or the wood had been hacked off.  11.  My custom leather sofa had been dragged on it's side until the leather was torn right throught the shrink wrap, and there was a  nasty gash (cut) on the recliner seat. as if someone took a box cutter and slashed the leather .12.  My like new oak bebe style bedroom furniture was all scraped and missing all the decorative wood carving had been broken off.  the dressers had nite stands had broken legs and missing wood. everywhere.  My large wall mirror with a lovely decorative Gold color frame was broken and the mirror shattered.   The curio cabinets had missing parts and wood from being dragged.  13.  i had eight Industrial Sewing Specialty Sewing Machines, which is my lively hood and is how i make a living.    Some of my machines had been dropped the housing were cracked and the gears were broken out.  The workstations for these sewing machines had been torn off the stands and the wheels bent off, probably with a forklift.  The sewing machines that did not have workstations were in crates and that is not how they were delivered.   i am missing one of my Juki industrial sewing machine and all the mattress bed rails and one lamp shade,  were not in the delivery.  I still have to go through all my boxes to make sure they are my boxes and if anything was taken out of them.  My expensive mattress had been folden in half and it is permanantly damaging the coils,  it is in that folded position, and can't be straighten out.14.    The workers that Max (Max being the driver ) hired asked,  me why were all my boxes opened as if someone had gone through them.  During all this time I am calling Alex to tell him about my damaged furniture it goes straight  to voice mail,  Max was constantly talking to someone I believe in Arabic on his cell phone the whole time my furniture was being unloaded. which I am sure it was to Alex.   I asked, Max why my furniture was damaged and he said, it was done in the warehouse, because when he went to go pick up the truck it was already loaded up. I  believe this damage was a malicious act for filing a compliant with Transportation.

Moving already sucks. Having a terrible Moving Company increases the stress level exponentially. I booked my move through a broker, Best Interstate Moving, and Storage (see the review on those jokers). TransUnion Van Lines was who they sent. From their arrival we had issues. First, the Two movers who came for a five person household move FORGOT THEIR TOOLS! Being the understanding people we are and having no choice, we lent them our tools. After packing up the house for several hours, one of the movers said they needed ANOTHER tool to disassemble the beds. They asked if I would drive them to Home Depot. I did because what else could I do? After packing for more hours they said they needed something else from Home Depot and asked if I could drive back there AGAIN! I did, because again, what choice did I have? It was either drive them or not get my house packed up. While all this was stressful and extremely unprofessional, it was what happened on the other end of the move that pushed me over the edge. When the movers arrived days later, at the new house, they informed us that the movers that packed our hose DID NOT tape the necessary screws and connecting pieces to the beds they went with. So, basically, they couldn't build my bed and my two young daughters beds. I then called the original movers and they informed me that they FORGOT to tape the screws to the bed, and instead, they OPENED out SELF-PACKED boxes and threw them in there. They did not inform us they were doing this, and to add insult to injury, they didn't mark which box had the screws! I had to personally open over 40 boxes to find the screws before the movers left. After going through ALL the boxes, we only found some of the screws. My wife and I had to build 3 beds ourselves. Just for a bonus, they also lost a few items and damaged some more. This was by far, the WORST moving company I've ever worked with.

Came recommended by a friend. One of the best stress free moving experience with Erik and his team. These guys are efficient, quick and professional. The prices are reasonable as well. They did a great job in getting all of our stuff packed into the truck from our old apartment and unpacked into our new apartment without causing any damage to either property. Our experience was great and we'd most likely use these guys again for future moves. I highly recommend Transunion Van Lines

I graduated from college and needed to move back. I was little skeptical about using moving company. I did my research, and called this guys. Leo, was very informative, he gave almost close estimate. Price was reasonable. The actual move was great. Roman and Alex did a great job. They called before arriving. They arrived on time. They did the move professionally. Delivery was great too. On time and without any hassle.
