We had the best experience today with Paul, Kyle, and Mike. I had requested an early move time and was given an arrival time between 8am-9am, they called me exactly at 8am to tell me they were on the way. From the moment they arrived to the time we finished, they were moving so fast and efficiently. They wrapped all of our furniture and handled everything carefully. They even helped us load our car with small items. The guys were so polite they wouldn't even use our sink to wash their hands without asking first. I highly recommend One Movers for any moving needs.

I waited for their movers at the designated arrival time of 8 AM, arriving early at 7:45. I called at 8:40 and was told they were on their way. I finally received a call and spoke to the mover (name is Kirio?) at about 9:30 who said they were busy and would not be arriving until after 11 or 11:30 AM. I subsequently spoke with Simon at their central number who took my call and stated, "There is nothing I can do about them arriving late." When I asked what caused the delay, he replied, "They did a smaller job first." How is this considered acceptable? I asked to speak with the manager, Lisa, but she has yet to return a call or email.  At 12:48 PM the mover called and said he would be arriving in an hour.  I canceled the move at 12:48 PM and guess what happened later that day?  I received an invoice from The One Movers Torrance for services that were NEVER rendered, which have my forged signature on each page.  There is a reason why I selected the 8 AM slot for moving. I am a physician, I am on call this weekend and I need to be in Torrance by the afternoon. Their company's delay has affected my business and will jeopardize my ability to be in the area on time. Furthermore, this also delayed other appointments I have scheduled today, including a refrigerator installation and security alarm consultation.  Do NOT utilize their moving services. The level of unprofessionalism exhibited by this company is incomprehensible.  THIS BUSINESS IS FRAUDULENT.  STAY AWAY.

Great Moving Experience:I really enjoyed the service of this company. I also liked the people who did the job. They were very polite and efficient. We had a lot of heavy and expensive things. They transported all of them very carefully, without any damages or scratches. I was worried before the move, it seemed to me it was very difficult. Thank you guys for making our move easy and fast! I called at the beginning of the week to make an appointment with these movers. Purchased the Yelp deal was deifnitely worth it. They offer a $10 discount if you pay in cash. Weekdays are cheaper than the weekend.The mover Sasha and his partner came earlier than our appointed time. It worked out since we were planning to take a half day from work to finish packing what we needed. The guys moved quickly. They wrapped up our larger furniture and fragile items in clear wrap then secured some of it with the movers cloth. They even broke down our King bed frame for us. The guys had a heavy Ukrainian accent, but was able to communicate the basics with us.They moved everything to our second location and placed certain furniture where we needed it to be. Sadly, they weren't as careful. My fiance found a chip on the corner to one of our nightstands just after they placed it down. It wasn't wrapped in the cloth like the other items which could have been prevented. Also, there's a piece of my standing lamp that holds the lamp shade to the lamp post is missing. I've only noticed after putting it together 2-days later.But of course they have a disclaimer, so there's no use in even mentioning it to them.They do charge a "double-drive time" charge, which means the driving time one way from your pick up location to the final destination will be doubled and this charge goes on top of the minimum.Overall, decent movers! Just be sure to ask them to wrap anything delicate with sharp corners in the cloth. Price is very reasonable.

WORST EXPERIENCE!! The moving company that doesn't show up. 8am appt time was set. It's now noon and they still are not here. We have asked to speak to a supervisor and they said we have to call customer service but the are reluctant to even give us that number! This is a horrible experience. Do not trust this company.
