I booked movers who cancelled on me at the last second.  Tried calling multiple places who could not help till Spade came to the rescue.  They moved my furniture THAT DAY and saved me from paying another day of rent.Ask for Armando, he was quick and made the process painless.

CAUTION! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY (dba MNM MOVING)!They are purposely slow at doing their job eating up all the hours of the day. Took forever moving our furniture out of our apartment and into their truck. They even picked up some random white couch on the grass whilst ON THE JOB. After they loaded all our furniture, we had them follow us to our new spot to unload and what do you know... THEY GET "LOST." No surprise there right? My roommate said she was driving at 20 mph and they happened to take a "wrong turn" and ended up following a similar car. She thought they were about to run off with our stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. As we HELPED them unload furniture to our new spot, I caught one of the movers on their phone THREE times. So unprofessional. Waste of time and money.There are much, much more negative reviews about this "moving" company (if you can even call them that), but just read all the 1 star reviews and you'll get a good idea of how this company works and how they scam their customers.

Absolute scam artists. 9 and a half hours for a 4, maybe 5 hour job. Slow with a purpose. Bad drivers.  Do not do business with this company. They have a nice description on their website. As you read it, imagine everything as just the opposite and you have Spade Moving.

Worst movers EVER!! The experience started out decent. The guys were courteous and wrapped everything carefully. We got to the new place and Armando started to go over the paperwork with me. All of the "courtesy packing" of our furniture was charged for. They claimed to have used 10 rolls of tape at $35. Never once was it mentioned to me nor my husband that we would be charged with packing materials or we would have agreed to it from the get go. This was a surprise. On top of that, they stated that we needed to pay overtime as well billed at $172/hr.  Armando rudely let us know that he wasn't allowed to unload the truck until payment was rendered. They originally quoted us six hour at $115/hr. The total bill came to $1,100.00!!!!! I queried it with the owner of the company who was to say the least completely rude to me. I begrudgingly agreed to pay the fee thinking that I had no other option. The nightmare wasn't over! They completely destroyed pieces of furniture; not to mention the damage that they did to the walls, door jams, and other household objects. I'm completely appalled with the lack of accord for people's personal possessions and property. I meticulously labeled every box and they just threw them everywhere. I have no idea where half of my stuff is!!!!! Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT hire these guys. I'm beyond livid.Update: 1/20/14 - We have yet to receive any reimbursement for damaged items. Their customer service is the worst I've ever had to experience. These guys are complete scam artists. DON'T TRUST THEM!!!

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!! If I could give a 0, I would. We had these movers for 3 days and their professionalism got progressively worse each day. The first day, their truck leaked oil all over our driveway, which was never cleaned up. Also all of their packing materials had cockroaches, which subsequently got into the house. After the moving was done for the day, I called the office again, after three of my calls were not returned, and spoke to Lisa who assured me the mess (oil and cockroaches) would be cleaned the next day and she would discount $50 off of our move. At this point, I should have known to cancel with Spade (aka. M n M) Moving, but they assured me the subsequent two days would go better.The second day, we had four movers at the house and they scratched the hardwood floor and broke bricks on the stairway because the guys didn't know how to use a dolly. No offer to pay us back for the lack of professionalism.The third day was the worst. The guys showed up TWO HOURS late. I needed a drop off in San Diego and because they arrived so late, the traffic was horrible, which ended up to be good for them since they get double drive time. FIVE HOURS later they arrived in San Diego. They did not drop our stuff off until 6pm! Then they had to go back to LA and it took another FOUR HOURS to arrive. They did not even finish moving everything in so we finished the job ourselves.I spoke to Eli on the phone and he hung up on me because I vented my frustration. For all of this inconvenience, the owners gave us $100 off our move, though we spent thousands with their company. I am reporting this company to the BBB. Do yourself a favor and pick another company! The owners are cheap and their cheapness shows in the quality of their work.
