INTEGRITY ALWAYS PAYS OFF! Moving is always the worst.  I've moved several times too many in the past couple years, and it seems like something always can go wrong or you don't get what you expected.  So, since I'd become the mover-extraordinaire, and knew my mileage, items to be moved, and more or less what to expect from a mover's point of view, I emailed quite a few companies on Yelp for a FLAT rate or basically a NOT TO EXCEED amount of no more than 400 dollars.  Most companies either replied -- SORRY,  we only charge by the hour.  Or, sorry, can't do! Well, not with SoCal...Eric and his guys went to work, and my move took right at 4 hours to complete.  Which by the way, would have been a little over 400 for SoCal's rates, BUT because of our "word" - SoCal / Eric only charged me what we'd agreed upon -- $400!  Naturally, I felt compelled to tip them, and wanted to write this review for them.  This is how the free market and really good business should work!Thanks SoCal!

I hired SoCal Affordable Moving Services this past Monday to help me with a move. I was moving from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment, and the Elmer and Said did it with ease. I was moving stuff constantly with them (to save $$) and it took us 4 hours to move a ton of things. They had no trouble moving my heavy massage chair, as well as couch, bed, and lots of furniture. I also had lots of huge boxes that they helped with. They packed everything nicely and wrapped the larger furniture.I chose SoCal because they were low-priced. However, the service you get is definitely top-tier and they worked efficiently. Also, they don't charge a service booking fee like many other places and they didn't charge to move my massage chair (unlike other places). So in the end SoCal came out a lot cheaper than the other places I was looking at.Will use again the next time I move!

They lost our box and decided not to answer our calls. I even tipped them well and paid for their lunch. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMENDThe name is under my mom's and I still don't recommend them, as you can see their way of responding is pretty unprofessional. I'm still missing a box. So yes, move at your own risk with this company

If I could give more than five stars, I would. These guys are the best in the business....and they are affordable!!! My parents were moving, and I had called several places who were charging much higher prices, with longer minimum hours. Luckily for me, I found SoCal Affordable and got a response almost immediately. Eric (and another staff) were there on time and started work instantly. They worked tirelessly and even helped out doing some few handy repairs for my dad. All through, they were fast, efficient and gracious. Thank you Eric and co. We really really appreciate your services. You have found a lifelong customer.

Great and affordable moving company. I used them last minute for a 2 bedroom move. They came on time as promised. We had a difficult move considering that the apartment I was moving to is on the 4th floor and the elevator was broken. It took them under 6 hours which was impressive for this type and style of a move. I would definitely recommend.
