I will never use Skinny Wimp Moving again. The negative experience started at the beginning trying to book and confirm the appointment- I had to many a number of calls to confirm. On the move day 5 movers did show up- polite and courteous. The bad started with the move- it was clear that at least 3/5 movers were new. They moved fast and made bad mistakes. The dropped and shattered a marble coffee table that has been with me for 25 years. The readily admitted it was there fault. Destroyed my daughters bed. Put dings in the walls of the old house and new house. I taled to the lead mover about slowing down and being careful- he agreed to do so, but that did not happen. I contacted SWM regarding a claim. Received a form and sent it back with pictures of the damage. I was told I would be contacted in 7-10 days. Never heard back. I have called and sent emails in which are being not being answered.

My Skinny Wimp movers were fantastic! Oscar and Joe came right on time, asked all the right questions, and were incredibly careful with my items. The move was so efficient! These guys kept moving the entire time and made sure that I got my money's worth! The attention to detail was awesome and the overall move felt relatively painless and stress-free. Think twice before you use this company!! I recently finished a move back into a house and they damaged some furniture as well as missing jewelry. They spent wasted time putting together furniture wrong in which we are paying for their time. Filed a claim for damage as well as missing jewelry for which they offered $1.20... wow thanks! Movers were very nice but company does not return calls or take any responsibility for mistakes. A ton of turnover in the office. Very disappointed in the way they handled the move.
