We used SDC to move our family's 5 bedroom house from Woodland Hills to Oxford and they were on point the whole way through. Serj was professional and informative during our initial research stages and their pricing seemed competitive. For how good their service ended up being, it was actually worth every penny. This was my 4th international move and by far the best.The crew that arrived to pack us out and load the container was great. Friendly and clearly experienced. Their attention to detail in handling my antique China cabinet and father's upright piano was especially appreciated. I was impressed by the communication from their support team as they gave updates while our things were on their way. We weren't disappointed at delivery either as our belongings arrived in great condition. SDC's team on the UK side were very helpful with the customs process and coordinating delivery to our Oxford property.The level of responsiveness and customer service was excellent from start to finish. Moving internationally is stressful and exhausting which is why it means so much that SDC handled the project with such class and efficiency. Well earned 5 star review, THANK YOU!

It gets better and better. I really wish I could say something positive. Days go by without any response to emails. Calling a customer a lier... priceless. Received an email from Lisa: Yesenia replied to your last email on Friday as promised. Just like we have replied to all of your emails. Please see attached.Your shipment is not lost nor has it disappeared and I have yet to understand why you continue to try to hurt our business.You keep updating your already undeserved bad review with things that simply aren't true. I NEVER called you to take downyour down your review. I called you to see what we could do if any to make you more satisfied with our services and toEARN a positive review. You did receive a call to your US number after pick up but it was not in the middle of the night assuggested. This was the OWNER of the company trying to call you to see what we could do to better assist you and to getall the details from you so we could try and correct any mistake that may have been made. THIS IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS!.You don't seem to want or to welcome good customer service Michael. You prefer to make up lies to ruin honest businesses instead.You will have your shipment soon, just as Yesenia wrote to you in her reply on Friday, Michael .It has not disappeared.Should you need anymore updates please reach out to us and we will always respond promptly as we have from the beginning.My Reply: I never received an email from Yesenia on August 18, 2017, otherwise I would not posted the updated review!!! That goes without saying.Actually the phone calls were in the middle of the night here in London. As an international moving company, I would assume you would know there are time zones and London is 8 hours ahead of Los Angeles. I had disclosed I moved to the UK on May 23, 2017, SO a call made at 4 pm PST, it is midnight BST in London. For many people midnight is the middle of the night.Not sure how that is lying. Like many companies, SDC has their own standard.SDC has fallen short, if a moving company doesn't know how to tell time and know there are different time zones, calling their client at midnight, having post-it notes that their client is "special". Is below standard. Calling me a lier, bad business.As for lying, you stated your company would be firing the moving company you use. However, you later stated SDC were still using them....Unfortunately, after I signed the contract with SDC several realtors© in Los Angeles warned me not to use your company. What I found ironic is someone here in London who works for a property company asked who moved me. I told him, his response was, good luck, they are the worse, hope you get your belongings. I am not ruining your business, you guys are doing that on your own.Being no one can tell time there, hopefully the agent here has my UK number as I disconnected the US number.Will copy emails to Yelp. Thank you

Thank you SDC team for great job!!!I had my personal items packed and stored with SDC international for 4 months and than moved them to Germany.My shipment arrived safely including my $8K TV and our high value Mattress. Your team in Germany was professional and easy to communicate with/ accommodating all our request.very good experience, will definitely recommend!

We recently made our move from Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarta Mexico. We researched several moving companies that were recommended on expat blogs and saw that they were expensive and that we would also have to make further arrangements with a  Mexican broker once our furniture got to Mexico. Then we found SDC. Talked to Marlene who walked me through the entire process. They are door to door. No shipping containers, no boats, no separate customs agents at the port in Mexico, actually, no ports at all. She helped with the menaje letting us know exactly what was needed and we got started. Yesenia then took over from Marlene as the expeditor and we made the pick up schedule. The guys showed up on time and wrapped all the furniture. We had boxed and sealed all the other stuff so it only took a few hours to get all of it on the truck and off it went to the warehouse and off we went to Mexico. Ruben was our shipping agent and kept us well informed as to where our things were along the way. As we did not have a full container, we had to wait a bit for them to bundle our shipment with another one but 5 weeks our stuff arrived here. There were a couple of chips in a statue that I had packed so that's on me. I should have let them pack it. But best of all, it was literally half the cost of other movers and there were no "hidden " fees. The guys unloaded the truck and put everything where we wanted it. I cannot thank Marlene and Yesenia and Ruben for their professionalism, courtesy, friendliness and help through out. 5 stars and major kudos to all

We used SDC to ship a large storage unit with the content of 4 bedroom house as well with 2 vehicles to back to our home country Argentina.The amount of stress handling all other arrangements around our kids and our animals were pretty high but the professional help and personal care we got from Holly and the Logistic department alleviated the pressure.We appreciate all of your help and will be gladly referring friends and family.
