Mark and Mike just moved our 2 bedroom 1 bath in less than 4 hours. They were so nice, professional, communicative and worked hard. I appreciate that they outlined all the terms of the move up front and it left no surprises when we were done. Excellent job, guys, and thanks for moving us into our new home!

I purchased a Living Social deal for Savon Movers. I thought I was getting a great deal....NOT the case. 1) They were late. My appointment was between 1-3 PM. They did not get there until 430 PM. They called me at 3 PM and said they would be there in 30 minutes. Not true. Then they try to say that the time frame was 1-4 PM when they arrived. ANOTHER LIE. It was made clear on the phone that my time was between 1-3 PM. 2) Their purpose to get more money out of you when you start moving. Sure, the LivingSocial deal was cheap but when I started the move, they wanted to charge for everything: $75 for every 7 steps of stairs, if you go over even a minute you are charged the whole hour, and then they brought more people to move but then wanted to charge an extra $30 per person per hour. None of these additional fees were mentioned during the phone call or on the LivingSocial deal. READ THE CONTRACT in tiny tiny font BEFORE STARTING. 3) They try to scam you and start the time when they ARRIVE, not when they start MOVING. For example, they got there at 430 PM, but didn't start moving until 445 PM. Beware! They will try to stall and move slowly. When they finished moving my stuff in my old apt, they were just sitting in the truck and we had to tell them multiple times to start driving towards my new apt. This is NOT a professional business. It's a bunch of young guys, not professionals, moving including the supervisors and manager. The only saving grace was that the two young movers were kind, respectful and helpful and therefore were tipped well. There were two "managers" just standing around doing nothing!BEWARE!!!!! I've informed Living Social about this horrible business. Make sure you read the other poor reviews. I went ahead with the purchase despite my concerns and gambled. BIG MISTAKE. We spoke with the owner, Mr. White, who is also super young, He was not apologetic and did not address any of our complaints. He did not make an effort to keep me as a customer and continued to back-up his employers for their actions. Poor business ethics and not worth the hassle. GO WITH ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET HIRING THEM.

This just adds insult to injury. I receive after almost three months a response from the owner or whoever is responding to messages on Yelp that 'they have no record of me using their service' and it 'must have been another company'. Of course they don't have record!!!!  They wanted cash at the door, didn't give me a copy of any paperwork after asking numerous times and now don't even recognize me as a customer. Beware to anyone that thinks of using this moving company.

Here is my experience with the Savon Movers:I made an appointment and was confirmed that the movers would arrive between 1-4pm.When I didn't see anyone arriving at 4pm, I called and spoke with David.  He placed me on hold to check on the status of the movers.  Almost 10 min later, the line was disconnected.  I called again and was sent to the voicemail.  Between 4pm and 5:10pm, I made 10 calls and each time the line was sent to voicemail.At 5:10pm, using a different phone, my call was picked up on the first ring.  David then explained that the truck was broken down and he could send another team.1 hour and 10 min LATER after my scheduled appointment, they decided to inform me of the situation ONLY AFTER I CONTACTED THEM.Rescheduled to 6pm.At 6pm, I was told the truck was broken down.  This was a different truck from the first one that was originally scheduled for my move.Rescheduled to 7pm.The movers finally arrived and did a decent job.  They broke one wood chest.  They explained that it fell apart.  I was too tired to dispute.Will I ever use Savon Movers again even with however large the discount?  100% NOWill I ever refer and/or recommend Savon Movers to anyone?  100% NOThank you.

I'm wondering if this is a real company, for they NEVER SHOWED UP! My moving window was from 1-3. It is now 6:00 pm, and after calling them several times, they informed me they could be here by 8:00pm. I'm sorry, but that isn't an appropriate time to move. In addition, I tried calling and confirming all week, and the phone number is a cell phone that doesn't even have a voicemail. That should have been my first warning. Then, today as the time went on, I was the one asking for updates and every time I called, they (the same person),  was confused with my name and told me they would get here today. Sooooo, if I were you, don't bother booking a fake company.
