History

Established in 1972. The first Public Storage building opened in El Cajon California, but the new business was only supposed to be temporary. Two partners pioneered the concept as a way to use their real estate investment while they waited for the Southern California community to take off and value of their land to grow. They kept building, and people continued to fill their units. Eventually the pair realized that self-storage was here to stay, and they never looked back. Today, there are thousands of neighborhood Public Storage locations to choose from, many right around the corner from you.

I stopped by to inquire about a unit rental, and was greeted with a nice warm smile from a Delores. She was very knowledgeable I must say, I had a handful of questions regarding the rentals, and I found her to be so useful. When ready I will most definitely come back to this location, and would even recommend this Public Storage to family and friends. Nice job!

Dolores was extremely helpful and patient with me as she showed me the units. She was an expert in helping me choose the correct size unit and she also offered great suggestions for my moving supplies.The location was cleaned and looked safe, unlike other companyies that I have seen. Even though I dread moving, Dolores great customer skills made it a little less stressful. I just referred my business partner to this location.Keep up the good work!!!

Delores is the worst! She couldn't get my credit card to work and when she called another store they could run it for her she wouldn't let them cause as she said "she ain't gettin my sale!" She said I could return the boxes I bought and when I came to return the wouldn't accept them. Never ever will I go to this place again

This is the worst company you can rent from. They do not return phone calls. I've called the district manager six times. There was water damage in my unit from a leak in the roof with several thousands of dollars in damage. Three other units that I know of also had water damage in their units. The employees Delores had me wait for three hours and I had to demand another unit. Then they charged me for another unit. They just left me with a huge mess and did not help out situation. Delores the employee is clueless. She said she would call me and recify situation and she did Not do what she said she would. Do not trust her!! While I was there, units on the bottom floor were broken into. They would not give him information about how many units were broken into and she ignored him when he inquired about security cameras. The building is in disrepair and its Public Storages fault for not keeping the building up. The computers were down all the time and I had to wait hours to deal with this which is unacceptable. Do not rent from Public Storage. They are committing fraud and think they can get away with it. I've spoken to a attorney and he has dealt with this company before. Give me my money back or I'll go to police!
