Overall the movers were decent... the move started off well, maybe an hour into the move they asked for a quick break I said sure... they took about 15-20 minutes smoking (cigarettes). They took 2 more smoke breaks which I felt was cutting into valuable moving time. Asking for a smoke break is just unprofessional to me.The second issue I had was, they could not fit the second part of my couch into my new place. Took about 30-40 minutes trying and standing thinking how to get it in. I suggested an idea and it was shunned. They gave up and said there was nothing else they could do for me so he gathered the paperwork for me 'to sign off the contract. The least they could do was wrap my couch back in the plastic wrap. Yes they left me with my couch outside...My boyfriend arrived 10 minutes later and was able to get the couch in with the help of the neighbor with NO problem! So I requested compensation for the wasted time and my wish was granted. A check was sent via mail.Would I use them again? Yes minus the smoke breaks.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!Prior to your movers moving everything at my apartment in Redondo beach on 12/18/2016. I talked to Sarah over the phone and we discussed both prices and logistics of the move. I let her know I had a 2 bedroom apartment and a 1 car garage I had to move out of. I also mentioned to her I would not be moving any heavy items (stove, refrigerator, washer or dryer). After Sarah looked up the mileage to travel and the hours it would take she told me that the move should not take more than 4 hours at a rate of $85 an hour for two movers for a total of $340. She also offered an extra mover and I said it would be fine with two if they would finish in 4 hours.Fast forward to the day of the move were my total hours were I am extremely upset about few things that I feel are absolutely unexceptable:1. I was absolutely mislead by Sarah, if you take call for moving you should be aware of how long things take and not be off by 5 hours. I understand maybe and hour but 9 hours is absolutely negligent.2. After it was all said and done and $805 later (double what I was quoted). A few miscellaneous things where left behind in my apartment including more than half of my belongings in my garage were still left behind. How is it possible that a moving company does not bring a truck big enough to move everything?! Seriously! You do this for a living, you would think you would over estimate. 3. One thing I would like to mention is was the movers Sean and his partner were great and worked very hard. Unfortunately at the end of the job they removed tape off the ground and damaged my original 1953 hardwood floors. They put down a mat in the entrance to protect the floor but never asked for permission from either me or my wife to put tape on our floors. TIMELINE:12/19/2016- talked to Sarah and let her know about all my concerns listed above. She told me she would get back to me and that she and her supervisor would listen to our prior recorded phone conversations and get back to me by 12/20/16 12/20/2016-waited for Sarah to call me and she never did, so I went ahead and called and talked to Vanessa. She told me that Sarah was out sick that is why I didn't revive her call. I told Vanessa that I neede something to be done because I needed to be out of my place in Redondo beach by 12/23/16. Vanessa said she would start a claim immediately and get back to me either by email or phone call before I have to move out on the 23rd12/27/16- After being very patient I called a few of your sales representatives and asked to talk to a supervisor or manager on duty. After a few attempts it was very clear to me that managers and supervisors were not making this a priority. I was transferred multiple times and was not able to talk to anyone that can solve my problem. Very frustrating may I add. After a few more attempts a spoke to Stacy she has been the most helpful but overall that day called a few times and was absolutely dicked around. I am going to email pictures of the damages. I know this is a lot to read but I figured that I would write everything so that I don't have to continuously repeat myself every time I call. To finalize I have been both civil and patient because I too own a business and know the important of customer service and more importantly giving the company a chance to make things right. As you can see from my timeline above these matters have not been taken serious, I understand the holidays play apart as well but this was brought up well before that. one of the reasons that I went with your company was the fact that your yelp reviews were good. After talking to Sarah she raved about your yelp reviews, the last thing I would want to do is giving  you guys a bad yelp review. I am an elite yelp reviewer. Talked to Martin from customer care, really nice over the phone and email. I sent him pictures of damage and nothing was resolved!

Never used movers before, we did a few quotes and movers long beach were priced competitively. We chose them because of our moving time frame overall but in the end were pleased with the results. We had 2 movers and they were polite, professional and punctual. They took the time to wrap our furnishings, they were efficient and completed the move in a timely manner and they took care of our belongings as if it were their own. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Things did not seem to go our way until the very end of the whole moving process, we were packing our belongings into boxes but most of them would not even close at the top. I was pretty relieved when the movers showed up because they had a bunch of tricks and techniques which they used to pack up a lot of stuff tightly into the boxes, and then duct taped it to make sure it would not open. This was exactly why we needed a professional team of workers to help us out, because they knew how to do things that we didn't know how to. Give them a call and see what they could accomodate for you.
