Meest Moving

I moved in yesterday and I decided to write this review while everything is still fresh in my mind- April 20, 2017 11:00 am  I called the office of Meest Moving and spoke to Julie who is in charge of dispatch and bookings. She explained the rates and asked me questions to find out all the details (bedrooms/ steep driveways/ stairs/ heavy items etc.). She quickly checked out my place on google maps to assure there would be no problem for the truck to access. She also told me the movers will have materials available if I happen to need some (bubble wrap, wardrobe boxes, packing paper, and normal boxes). Also she told me she will send an email confirmation with the details. After our conversation we booked a date and I received an email confirmation within 10 minutes. I had a good feeling about my move right from the start. Julie was friendly and easy to talk to.  April 28, 2017 10:30 am  Mike calls me and provides a friendly reminder three days before my move.  May 1st, 2017 8:00 am  On the day of the move Nick, the mover in charge calls me when they are an hour away.  May 1st, 2017 9:00 am The movers arrived exactly at 9 am like they said. They wasted no time, while Nick and I were talking the other movers were bringing out dollies and other materials/equipment. We took care of paper work and they got started immediately. Very efficient start. (I love efficiency). May 1st, 2017 11:00 am  Mike the manager came by to make sure everything is going well. That made me feel comfortable knowing management is on top of their game.  May 1st, 2017 4:00 pm The movers finished loading. Everything delicate was wrapped in moving blankets and/or shrink wrapped. My paintings were blanket wrapped and cardboard crated. You can tell these guys are professional. They didn't just throw a random box on top of my paintings, but specifically designed a custom covering for my paintings. I told them they were expensive so they made sure to be extra careful. Also the way they wrapped my dining table was very precise and neat. To disassemble(and reassemble) my bed, refrigerator, and dining table was a breeze to them. The movers were experienced, knowledgeable, and efficient. They had all the tools to make it happen.  May 1st, 2017 9:15 pm  The movers finished unloading everything in my new home. No scratches on any of my walls. All of my belongings were in perfect condition. Everything was assembled quickly. At the end I had them assemble a small shoe rack and coffee table because I thought since they are here I might as well take advantage. They were pleasant young men with manners. I gave them a generous tip and forgot to add I bought them lunch as well. Overall my experience was perfect.  P.S. My best friend is moving next month and she is going to go with Meest Moving. Since the moving company I was originally supposed to go with wasn't available, I went with Meest based off of the other good reviews I've read and I'm so glad I found them! I was looking for a moving company for an aunt moving from Tarzana to Malibu which required six movers and two trucks so it was no easy feat, but everything got done despite the long day. The movers were amiable, polite, and clean shaven. The moving crew leader Alex was especially knowledgeable on how to get everything transported in a quick and efficient manner. Also, the movers definitely worked their butts off! There was no standing around and they were consistently moving. There was one large item which was hard to transport due to its bulky and heavy nature, but they easily took care of it.   We received a free hour as a part of their promotional plan. An additional perk was their sense of humor -- they played the "I like to move it" song from Madagascar which kept us all in high spirits. Overall we were very happy with the experience and as a result have a go-to moving company. Thank you Meest Moving team!

Meest moving has been incredibly helpful in my move across town. They helped pack my belongings and carefully load them with care. I'm beyond satisfied and if I move again will absolutely use them! Everyone was kind and pleasant to work with. Amazing company that I highly recommend!

Just moved back to Los Angeles from the Glendale area and Meest made it so easy. I've always been iffy about moving companies out of fear of being overcharged but the rates were super reasonable (factors that affect price were things like weight, rooms, stairways, accessibility). I compared their quote to a couple of other moving companies in the area and they had the best one, so I went with them! They saved me time, money and my back! (LOL)Not only were they super friendly and comforting (about fragile items), they were incredibly professional and efficient. Mike and his team were great and I will definitely consider them in the future/recommend them to my friends. I can't believe I almost rented a uHaul! 10/10!!

This is a very good moving company. They helped us alot during our last move last year. Very easy to work with. Friendly staff. They all speak english!! Which is a plus, with other companies i had problems communicating with the movers, but not with this one. They packaged our items nicely. Everything came undamaged. They worked fast and was very good at their job. They seem to care about their customers happiness and satisfaction. They went above and beyond for us. We are extremely happy. I am so glad i finally found their yelp page for the review! Recommended!!
