Found Long Distance Movers on Yelp. Spoke to Mark who promptly scheduled an estimator to come to our apartment for a guaranteed quote. I also wanted to get quotes from other companies for comparison so I contacted the bigger moving companies. Out of all four quotes, Long Distance Movers gave the best rate. Mark was very professional and easy to talk to. I also booked our vehicle transport through them. On the day of the move, three employees came and all were very nice and friendly. Their work was so efficient and organized in packing up our furniture. My husband is an art dealer and is very particular with how his art works should be packed and he watched them pack everything and was thoroughly impressed. He's shipped art works before through an art shipping company and he said Long Distance Movers did an even better job. The quote we were provided even included crates for our two large canvases that are not protected by frame.The car was also picked up by their partner, who was also very nice and accommodating. As his truck couldn't fit the always busy downtown LA streets, he even walked/took public transport to our place as it was near his garage and drove our car back to his lot. The items did not stay in the warehouse long as I got a call the next day that they were on their way from LA to Charleston, SC. They arrived in perfect condition within two weeks of pick-up. My family member received the items and she noted how organized and efficient the Long Distance Movers employees were (she used another company for their interstate move and was able to compare).The car also arrived within 10 days in perfect condition.Overall, my family and I are very happy with the service from Mark and his team. Extra points for having a Quality Assurance manager contact me days after the move to ensure the items and car arrived to our satisfaction and they did. I would definitely recommend Long Distance Movers to family and friends.

I don't know how this is going to end, but right now, if there was a rating for -10 stars, I would post it.I'll be brief. It started bad, and it has ended bad on the first of our two moves.They were late coming to my home in Miami and never called. I had to place several calls to find out when they would arrive. The blame was on the truck they needed to get, as they had truck issues, but they never called the customer to explain this.They packed my belongings and furniture. I thought it odd that no one had a Long Distance Movers shirt or logo.Today, the move arrived in Los Angeles, Pasadena, and the majority of items are broken, damaged or missing. I'll post pics when it is all said and done.Bottom line: Long distance movers sub'd out the job, and the folks are still at my house, banging into walls, and are not trained. They were obviously hired off the street to help the driver, who cannot do anything physical.This is not what i thought I was buying when I went with Long Distance Movers. They represented Quality. They represented Professionalism. They do have a good sales force, but how good is the Sale if the execution does not deliver?? Thank GOD that I purchased the full replacement value insurance, but now I will have to deal with the administrative nightmare that comes with it.I wish I had never hired these guys. And they still have another move to deliver to me in Chicago.God help me.

My family and I have been living in the same house ever since we were born. We decided that it was time we moved because our home was located in the outskirts of the city and because we felt that we needed to move closer to a good school and university. We started talking about relocation about a year ago now. At first, we wanted to organize everything by ourselves. However, we soon came to the realization that relocation on our own won't be possible. So we started thinking whether we should maybe get a few of our friends to help us. After a long time of thinking what to do, we decided that, even though we were on a budget, it was best to hire a professional moving company. We started searching and getting information from our friends. One of our really good friends recommended that we hire Long Distance Movers. We found their website pretty easily and they had amazing reviews! We thought we should hire them, and I could not agree with her more. After a few days, we decided to give them a call. The only thing we had left to worry about was pricing. We obtained a lot of information from their representatives, who were very nice and polite towards us. After learning that they are very affordable, we decided that they were the perfect moving company for our needs. We scheduled our relocation and car transportation to be in two weeks from then. Since I decided that I needed my car transported as well, they gave me thorough instructions on how to prepare and set up my car for transportation before the relocation day comes. When the relocation date came, long distance movers arrived at the scheduled time without being late! They immediately started packing and wrapping up all of our belonging. Sooner than later, we were off to our new address, in a completely different state. Once we arrived, they started unloading their moving trucks and then carefully unpacking and unwrapping each item. Let me just say that we were thrilled to see just how dedicated and hardworking these men were. And that's not all, throughout the entire relocation process they were more than friendly and polite towards us. After they have finished with everything they were supposed to do, they said goodbye to us and thanked us for hiring them. We could not thank them enough for everything they did! Not only was the relocation safe and quick, but also got everything we needed transported and relocated at a very affordable price. This moving company was really the best one to hire and we are beyond happy to have found them in time! We will 100% continue to support and recommend Long Distance Movers in the future!
