I'll make this short, simple, and to the point.If you want a stress-free moving experience, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT call KBS Moving Inc.These people showed up 3 hours late and the owner did not once apologize nor would he budge to give us even a $5 discount for being so late.  The owner is by far the rudest person I've ever dealt with in my life.  I don't understand how someone so rude to his own customers can run a business.The actual moving guys were nice, however, I felt as if they could have handled my boxes with more care.  One of my jewelry stands broke during the move.There are so many other moving companies in k-town that are reliable, cheaper, and have 100x better service that can do the job.  Unfortunately, the place I used for my last move (Gabo Moving Company, $70/hr for 2 people) were booked for the day I had to move out, and KBS was the only available company.Please, please, please, don't go with what I had to go through. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!

I know people always write that they never write reviews and that this is always 'there first time'....let me tell you honest to God, this is the very first review i have ever written in my life.  THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST MOVING COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE!!! STAY AWAY!!!!  We set our appointment for 2pm this past Saturday, they called at 1pm to tell us that they are going to be late and they will make it by 4pm...no apologies...no explanations..just simply telling us that they will be late.  They then call at 3:30pm and tell us that they will be late YES AGAIN and arrive at 5pm!!My gf and I already made plans for the night, its fine...we can cancel.  we just want to get started with moving out of our old apartment.  When they come (late yet again, past 5pm) I called the owner and tell him that "I understand that they are busy, but please understand that we are busy as well, so if we can come to some sort of an agreement and receive some minor discount we would really appreciate it."  He starts YELLING AT ME, asking me WHAT IS MY PROBLEM!! WHY DIDN'T I TELL HIM THIS BEFORE, if he would have known I was going to ask for a discount he would have never sent the truck over to our old apartment.  He then continues to yell at me some more and hangs up the phone on me.  He then calls the driver of the truck and tells him to cancel our appointment and to drive away.  The driver (who was very nice by the way) says he's sorry and that there is nothing he can do.  I call the owner back (who is damn prick by the way), and he picks up the phone, yells some more and then continues to hang up on me.  This happens 3 more times.  The 4th time, I ask him to please stay on the phone, I repeatedly apologized for asking for a discount, he then yells at me some more, I continue to apologize.  I tell him that we will pay full price and that it's not a problem.  He then hangs up on me, calls the driver and tells them to stay.  THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST MOVING COMPANY.  PEOPLE LIKE SHOULDN'T OWN A BUSINESS.  THE OWNER IS KOREAN, I AM KOREAN, this man makes me ashamed to call myself Korean.  STAY AWAY!!!!!

If I could give this business a ZERO I would. I have hired professional movers tons of times and usually go with one particular company but they were completely booked. So as a last resort and out of desperation, I called KBS. At first, they were great, they showed up 15 minutes early. I got a pretty decent price on 3 guys. It all went downhill after we packed up all the stuff from my old place to go to the new place.FIRST, one of the movers asked us to buy the three of them lunch. I was like, you're not the only one who's hungry here! We're all hungry. Let's go to the new place, unload my stuff and then I will give you tip so you can buy your own food. Unfortunately they asked the same question to my husband who is much nicer than me apparently. He says to them, you guys want me to buy you some burgers? They had the audacity to say, no we want burritos. I was like, what the F*#$? Beggers cannot be choosers and who the hell asks to get lunch during the middle of a move?THEN, of course we have friends who help us move too right? This one PERV is giving all the girls this NASTY look. Like the, I'm going to rape you in your sleep look. He was seriously the most disgusting person on this planet. THEN, when they finish unloading I'm getting ready to pay them with a check. The PERV tells me (not asks me) to go to the bank and to pay him in cash. I was like, you're kidding me right? I literally laughed because I thought he was kidding. Well, it turned out he wasn't because he called the owner, that everyone here on yelp is complaining about, and the owner says to me, wait you don't have cash? I was like, if you told me ahead of them to pay you in cash, then would I be on the phone right now? He never ever asked me once to pay him in cash. And as an owner, don't you want your workers to get paid in check? Cash can be stolen!! The owner is such an idiot. And I decided that as long as I had him on the phone, I would let him know the lunch incident. He says, well were you planning to give them tip? I said yes and he asks how much? I said $40 total. Then he has the freaken audacity to say, you know they usually get tipped $20 each. I was like, what the F*&@? I gave them some cash and told them to get the hell off my property.It was literally the worst moving experience ever. If you wanted to be treated with respect, do not hire KBS.

The movers were supposed to arrive at 8am, but they came at 8:15am, finished moving at 3:30pm. The owner told me people usually buy the workers lunch, therefore, I was nice enough to buy all three workers lunch. I purposely timed their lunch for them to eat on the truck on the way to my new place, as i did not want to pay for lunch AND their lunch break because i am paying by the hour. Besides, do i really need to buy lunch AND pay by the minute while they eat?! Big mistake on my end! They ate for 15 minutes inside my garage prior to my next destination. I waited for them to finish eating then we were off to my new place. They got lost on the way to my new place and took 35 minutes to get to a destination that should've taken 20minutes at the most. If you calculate the time when they started and ended, it took 7 hours and 15 minutes, but they got lost on the way, took 15 minute lunch break, plus they were 15 minutes late! I explained that to the owner who decided to charge me an extra hour for going over 15 minutes. I told him it's only fair to charge 7 hours instead of 8 due to these reasons. How can you charge someone for the full hour, when technically, I didn't go over 15 minutes!! He said even if you go over a minute, they charge full hour. A full hour costed me extra $100!! Do not use this company! And do not buy movers lunch as they do not appreciate AND you will get charged extra for their lunch break!! I will never use this company again!

The worst moving service EVER! The owner shows up 2 hours late. Never calls or apologizes. He initially tells me he is going to show up with only 2 people which is $80/hr. When I called cause he doesn't show up he says he is running late so he will be showing up with 3 people to make things faster. I soooo took that as a courtesy thing cause his ass is super late.He shows up TWO FRIGGIN HRS LATE then half way through moving my things, he overheard my conversation with my roommate and how I'm only paying $80/hr and he interrupts me by saying "fyi I told u 3 people are $120/hr so you are paying $120/hr"......I was like WHAT DA F$#K?!?!?!?!?! I started to say something but i was at a loss! What was i suppose to do?????? Tell him to f-in stop????? So I was HELLA pissed but let him finish up.We finally get to my new place unpack everything and it finished after 3 hrs and 10 mins. The a$$ tells me I have to pay an extra $60 cause he rounds up so I have to pay for 3.5 hrs. WHO DA HELL DOES THAT????? WHO?????? HE COMES 2 DAMN HOURS LATE AND CHARGES FOR EVERYTHING PLUS MORE!!!!!!I WAS SOOOOOOO PISSSSSED!!!!!! LIVID!!!!!! But out of the kindness of my heart I gave the money sucking asswhip $10 tip. He counts the money in front of me and I guess he could read the anger on my face...I couldn't hide my ugly feelings towards him.THEN THAT HUMAN HAD THE AUDACITY TO ACTUALLY ASK ME "Did u not like our service?"Seriously....I wanted to punch him but didn't want to go to jail. Seriously.... only thing i could think of was "I am sooo writing crazy $h*t about u on yelp."I HATE YOU KBS MOVING GUY. I REALLY HATE U. USE MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND TAKE SOME BUSINESS ETIQUETTE CLASSES.U r a disgrace to koreans.......I really hate u.
