My wife and I were sick and tired of dealing with Asian moving companies who never explains policy until we pay. So we wanted to try out more professional movers. We got estimates from several movers and their quotes were sky high and seemingly bill you for every wheeny tiny bit. Then I came across Jojo and read the reviews on yelp. One thing that caught my attention is that Jojo lives up to his promise whether its pricing or if you are unsatisfied. I gave him a description of what I needed and he told me he would get me a quote over e-mail. Very cool! The quote came in and I was almost stunned. No extra fee for piano pickup, no fuel surcharge, no packing supplies fee. Are you serious? Yes he's serious. The day of the move, his right hand man, Dan came with two others. They were all courteous and very professional. I don't recall seeing them take any break. I went and got some McD's and had to tell them to take a lunch break (mainly cuz I was hungry!). Jojo's quote came almost to the dot. The movers were done 30 min short of the estimate. We saved money and nothing broke. The only tiny complain I have is that they used cheap tape to wrap around some of my furniture which I am having a hard time getting off. that's like a 4.9 stars. Since I'm an engineer, that rounds up to 5 stars!

The worst experience of my life they stood me up and never showed up I am afraid they are going to come rip off my house now I am  going to call the police dept to report them.

I won't elaborate on my experience, other than a one star rating is far too generous.  If you would like to keep your furniture intact, I highly recommend you go somewhere else.  And don't expect any customer service or professionalism either.....He goes radio silent once the job is done.

The comment the owner left on my previous post shows the level of unprofessionalism he exudes. I don't usually leave bad reviews I usually just leave it alone. The owners comment just validated my reason for doing so. I did not have more furniture than what I was quoted for and I also quoted two racks of clothes that I moved myself in my own vehicle since they did not bring the wardrobe boxes and I also moved my own shoes and tv in my own vehicle. I only had a one bedroom apartment which should not be up for debate because the facts are the facts. It's almost laughable that he would say that. After I complained about the pace the movers were moving that's when they decided to move a bit faster. After I complained he then came to me and started on a rant about how I'm the 11th colored client he has had and how he usually work for whites and Asians in Beverly hills. I definitely took that as a bash. He could definitely benefit from some business and communication classes. He then went on to say how he NET 1.7 million dollars last year but that was before insurance and labor cost? Sorry that would be considered GROSS, not NET. IF you truly own the trucks why would you leave the Budget labels allover the truck? One that is illegal and two wouldn't you want to change it to market your own business?Next time a customer is unhappy apologize instead of bashing the customer and you wouldn't have bad reviews.

I hired JoJo for a 2-man delivery of just a sofa and dresser to my client on a flat fee basis.  The contract included a 17-foot truck for the delivery. JoJo did not come (I was really looking forward to meeting him), but he sent 2 other movers who where courteous and cooperative, however, they showed up in a small pick-up truck instead of a 17-foot panel truck.After rejecting having the delivery made in a pickup truck, the movers left, and returned 45 minutes later with a large truck and completed the delivery without any major incidents.I was happy with the delivery because JoJo saved me and my client money on this delivery.
