This is the second time I've used these movers within two years and they are a pleasure. Michael and Tony operate the business seamlessly and their workers are amazing to watch: fast, helpful and efficient. Their pricing is reasonable and they reward repeat business.

This is part one of an eventual two part review. The reason for this is because this review covers the move and storage from our Stevenson Ranch home. The (eventual) second part of this review, to be completed in the Winter of 2015, will cover the move to our home in Nipomo. We received estimates from AQMS and Father and Sons. Mike (F&S) provided me with the estimate. As there was a substantial difference in AQMS's favor, Mike "sharpened his pencil" and reduced his bid by $400.  Additionally, I felt more comfortable with the professionalism Mike had. Our moving team this morning (Miguel, Luis and Jose) are here, as I am typing this, methodically and carefully boxing and wrapping our furniture. Now, we are not moving "virgins". No, Sir!This is probably out 10th move in 37 years. That being said, this is probably the easiest and least stressful move we have ever had. The moving team is experienced and careful in all steps of the process. Clearly, this is not their first rodeo!The key will be what, if any, damage our furniture suffers in the six months it is in storage and then reunited with us. There are several steps here:  loading our furniture onto the moving truck, offloading to storage, loading back onto the truck and then sipping to us and finally offloading. There are numerous things that can go horribly wrong. However, if the balance of the move is this uneventful, I look forward to being reunited with my undamaged furniture!

This is my third time using them.  This time I hired the 4 man crew to move me from Woodland Hills to N Hollywood.  They had everything on the truck, fully protected and wrapped, within an hour and 10 minutes - all said an done packed, driven and unloaded in under 4 hours.  Also the house I was moving from had two level and stairs no matter which way you went. I still had to pay the full 4 hour rate - but it's well worth it. Whenever they are unloading they are very careful to make sure everything is exactly where you need it and even wrapped some additional furniture that couldn't fit in my new place and had to get stored I have never had an issue with them. Yes their prices are steadily rising - but honestly for as quick, thoughtful and careful as they are I don't mind paying it. Thank you again for another quick move!

I highly recommend using Father and Son for your next move. They were recommended to us by a friend and I'm so glad we chose them as our movers. Their crew was on time, hardworking, efficient and friendly. Part of the move was challenging because it started raining and we have a lot of stairs in our new home, but the crew was great! They're also very honest. I didn't notice that some jewelry of mine fell behind our dresser. When the dresser was moved, one of the crew members brought me the jewelry box right away and told me where he found it. Finding good movers can be difficult. I'm so glad we found Father and Son!

We were recommended to Father and Sons Movers by a friend who recently moved in the area. Their bid was not the lowest, but between my friend and the Yelp reviews, I liked what I heard and they got the job. Jose and his team showed up on time. They treated my stuff with great care, wrapping everything in moving blankets and shrink wrap. And the move came off without a hitch, NO DAMAGE!!!! The team was very helpful with things that may not be considered part of the regular move. Overall, each man on the team was very polite and very professional. Definitely a 5 star move.
