History

Established in 2013. Cheap Truck is an extension of the REAL RocknRoll Movers brand. After seeing that there was a need for small moves at lower rates with no minimums, a separate service was designed for those LA folks with small moves and single items. The added bonus of a flat rate was important to the idea. Since being introduced, Cheap Truck Moving Co. has performed hundreds of single item and small moves in LA. From moving a couch or a refrigerator, to small studio apartments, we handle it all and are your small move specialists.

I used Cheap Truck Moving for a small move (5 pieces of furniture plus two appliances). They were everything you expect and want from a moving company: they showed up on time (early even, I believe); they were fast; they were careful; and did it all for a fantastic rate. It was a true test of moving ability when they moved a new washer and dryer up a narrow-ass flight of stairs and then hauled the old ones back down the same narrow-ass flight of stairs with my dog barking at them the whole time. They didn't complain, they didn't say it's impossible - they just did it and it worked out perfectly.I have no doubt that I'd use them again and highly recommend them.

My house in Atwater Village needed new floors. I needed all our stuff moved into our yard and wrapped tight-as-a-drum (pun intended). I hired my local moving coming, Cheap Truck, via RealRocknRoll Movers for their minimum time (3 hours). The form was easy as pie to fill out and Melanie and Archey got back to the submitted form within hours? Nay, minutes!Fast forward to moving day, Julio and Zach(sic?) showed up EARLY. They were ready to go immediately, but actually spent a few minutes chit-chatting with my 3 year old daughter as she showed them all the furniture and her toys that needed to be moved. I gotta tell you folks, they finished in an hour and a half. So, they spent the rest of the time making sure our furniture is sealed up from the elements, as if it was their own furniture. More than I expected them to do. These guys had to figure out some over-sized pieces through old-school narrow doors. They negotiated these issues, flawlessly. If you don't use these guys for your next move, you are making a mistake (plus, my wife thought they were cute). Maybe I should have given them a bad review for that.Mike Odishoo

Cheap Truck saved our lives. We were out of town on the weeks leading up to our move. Our move was hectic and and stressful, until we booked cheap trucks! They came on time, they were very fast and efficient. I have never had a move go so smoothly. They took care of our belongings and nothing was lost or broken in the move. Maik and Bobby made us feel comfortable and were very entertaining and sweet!

Devin and Brian were my movers and they were FANTASTIC - extremely efficient, professional and super quick...They had my studio guest house completely packed and moved in well under 2 hours.
