History

Established in 2001. Artists Movers may be new to Yelp but for the last 10 years they have been taking the stress out of moving for thousands alike in beautiful Los Angeles area. Owned and operated by musicians (hence the name), Artists is not your average moving company in that we create a fun, relaxed atmosphere on moving day while taking extra care of your possessions and providing excellent service. Did we also mention that we're fast? We're all about efficiency and saving you money, so you don't have to worry about grass growing under our feet. We move at a quick pace, but never at the expense of your possessions. No job is too big or too small. We move apartments, houses, offices, dorms, studios, and much, much more! Just need some help moving a couch or a bed? We also do deliveries. Need help loading or unloading your moving truck? We do that too.

Dennis and Vance were amazing. Shawn was a pleasure to schedule with and gave me a great price as I was only moving 1 bedroom worth of belongings. It took less than 2 hours and they were so friendly, professional and all around a joy. Who would think that moving day could be awesome?! This is how business should be done! Will recommend them to everyone.

Holy moly.Artists Movers. The connotations can conjure up images of lofty, dreamy, and irresponsible, or in our case, professional, hardworking, and punctual. The latter is definitely the truth. I'm also a musician and in this town, in order to work one must always be the professional kind. We had a seemingly simple move, from a 1-bedroom to a 2-bedroom (it ended up being rather brutal). I was nervous particularly about some large pieces of furniture in awkward angles, knowing there was no way I'd be able to get that out of my place. So Dennis and Vance show up on time, and boom, right down the stairs. They had all the equipment necessary and knew everything about packing, wrapping, leveraging, etc. There's an experience these guys have that even most well-intentioned friends often lack.Long story short, it was one of hell of a move, but these guys made it so worthwhile in every sense.Their rates were totally reasonable, upfront, and the fact that they bring their truck with all their gear makes all the difference. Think about it. That wasted hour getting a U-Haul plus $25 for a stinkin' hand truck?! That's all included and then some. I've moved a lot of stuff, but this particular move had its challenges. When we got to the new place, the couch wouldn't fit through the front door. We tried everything. I would've just given up. Dennis and Vance we're like "no biggie, we'll just lift over the rear balcony (happened to be 10 feet high). We'll just need some help on your end." Really?! You can do that?! That kind of fearlessness, you can't even buy.I was being a nice host, offering beer or Red Bull. They politely declined as they were just focused on the work. Who does that?! And wow, they really were wanting to not overcharge me and make sure everything was done within the targeted time frame. I had about 7 other friends help move and they were all in awe of this awesome team. "Dude, I've had movers before and often they'd just take their time. These dudes HUSTLE!" - quotes recent immigrant from NYC. Nothing damaged, either. Yeah, that's it.

I've used Artists Movers five times now...for both large and small jobs. By now, I know for sure that they are competent; highly trustworthy, hard workers and very nice! They have the dollies and tools required to do any move job I can imagine. Plus, they know how to handle your stuff. And, they know how to take things apart and put things (furniture etc) together. All of the reviews here are spot on. There's really nothing more or different than I can say about Sean and Dennis. I've recommended them to others, and highly recommend Artists Movers to anyone who might need their services!!!

These guys are fantastic! They've moved me twice now to 2 different apartments. The speed at which they loaded and unloaded me was head spinning. They literally moved me from Sherman Oaks into my new apartment in DTLA during rush hour in under 2 1/2 hours. Efficient, friendly and professional service! Highly recommended!
