Very positive moving experience on a very hot Labor Day weekend. Abby, the woman who scheduled the move over the phone, was professional, patient, answered questions clearly. It was a generally pleasant experience with her and she called after the move to see how it went. The window for the movers was 8am to 10am on a Sunday. Jesus was the foreman and he was very professional, nice, helpful. They arrived at 8:30am (though I did need to call prodigy that morning since I hadn't heard from anyone that am). They moved my one bedroom apartment (only a distance of a mile) in 2 hours. I had already disassembled the bed and packed so they swooped everything up quickly (only minor disassembly for the couch) and had it in the new place quickly. My brother reassembled the bed while they moved the other items (of course the movers would have done this but I wanted it to take the least amount of time possible. They were careful with my belongings and nothing was damaged. I had some bulky things like couch, large mattress, BBQ, kitchen table but they handled everything with relative ease. I had agreed to a 3 hour minimum so had to pay for an extra hour since they completed the job in 2hrs. Honestly, it was so low stress once they got there, the total price seemed worth it ($135hr plus tips for the 3 movers). I would recommend them to family and friends... and yelpers.

Prodigy came highly recommended by a neighbor who used them to move.  The building we are moving to has 80+ steps from the ground floor to the apt, so I wanted a really good moving company and did not want to be in a situation where they would get discouraged with all the steps.  My interactions with Abby (we had quite a few) were informative and professional, Abby understood my needs and made recommendations which I gladly accepted.  The day of - Ivan came and we did a walk-thru before they moved anything, and he remembered everything - all my special instructions!  They packed all the furniture with great care and we were on our way!  So picture this - we are in the middle of a HEAT WAVE and these guys are hustling up the 80+ steps with the huge sectional, the marble table, and so on.  And they did so with SMILES on their faces.  A few hours later, everything is in the new apt, and the crew made sure every piece was where I wanted.  And - this shows how great they are - one of the movers after they finished moving me helped an elderly neighbor move a heavy item.  I'm using them again in a year when I have to move.  Hope I can get the same crew (Ivan foreman with Solomon, Rafael, Mauricio and Juan).

Let me just say moving is the worst thing ever but with Prodigy and the great moving guys (Jesus meza, Adrian, alfredo) moved my 2 bedroom apartment from westwood to culver city which was a 3 hour minimum and they did it all under the allotted time. They were friendly, fast, efficient, on top of it all. I couldn't of asked for a better moving company. I would recommend this company to anyone that is moving you will be happy with their service. Great job Jesus Meza, Adrain and Alfredo

I had the good fortune to contact Abby @ Prodigy Moving to facilitate my move from Silicon Valley back to LA. The pick up service was smooth & seamless with Gabriel leading the Prodigy team. It took under an hour including the packing, wrapping & moving. The pickup service was prompt, professional & timely.  I was contacted by Abby a couple days later & notified of the delivery to my new home in 3 days. Abby was terrific in answering questions & ensuring the safe & prompt delivery of my furniture. As advertised I was called Monday morning by Ezekiel to announce the delivery teams arrival. The whole unpacking, setting up & cleanup took under an hour. This company is highly effective & lives up to their promise of quick, clean & timely moving. I would recommend the Prodigy service to anyone. Thank You Prodigy for a job well done.

I needed movers without much notice and they delivered! Abby was so helpful and a pleasure to work with. Usually people working in customer service don't really care about the customers but Abby was great! Not only were they priced competitively they showed up on time! Ivan was one of three movers who got it done so efficiently and timely. It was like magic! My husband was stuck at work and I was stuck with a 3 yr old and a house full of stuff that needed to be moved. These guys were great. Highly recommended!
