Not really sure about the negative reviews but we had a great experience with Anthony Ayala. His quote was near darn accurate and his moving crew was great. Punctual arrival and our stuff even delivered waaay earlier than expected. We weren't present for the delivery but bc we were given the heads up, we had made necessary arrangements. It was nice arriving to our new home with our things already there. A few boxes may have been smooshed but that's expected when you're moving halfway across the country, right? Nothing damaged tho. All in all a good experience. If needed, I'll use them again.

HEED TO THE WARNINGS - THIS IS A SCARY MOVING SERVICE:  I rolled the dice and lost.......I tried to believe that the negative reviews were not true, but I am sorry to report they are true.  My move was very small (40) boxes which I packed, a bicycle, one flat screen TV, miscellaneous cleaning things (Mop, bucket, Swiffer, etc.).  Going from Tempe to Gurnee, IL - with no inside delivery, the driver simply had to deliver to the curb.  As some of the other reviews warned, I was hit with a $200.00 increase when the movers arrived (they were on time, I'll give them that) and they were going to charge me extra to take the TV down - which Shawn told me was included.  I had a friend there and he took down the TV to avoid any delays. They did not get my load assigned for two weeks, so my items sat in their trailer on 100+ weather for two weeks.  A driver was finally assigned to haul my items and it delivered 17 days after loading which is not bad.  Problem is that driver was a no show for the set appointment so we had to go back and meet him 3 hours later than scheduled.  I ended up with missing (3) cartons - naturally they were the ones with my DVD collection, and collector books.  The cartons which were delivered were clearly mishandled, but the damage was minimal even though one of my packed carton was pretty much destroyed.  (I over-packed with bubble wrap and paper)I think what bothered me most is that I received a wrought iron table base belonging to somebody else.  When I contacted them, I had to call (5) times over a 10 day period, and finally got a response when getting the sales guy (Shawn) on the line. Finally, I was e-mailed a form for a third party claim service, but I do not expect to recover my loss - so I am chalking this up to a lesson learned.  "If it sounds too god to be true - IT IS" and "You get what you pay for" - don't be like me!  Go with the brands and listen to the reviews!  USA was only a couple hundred less than United, Allied and Bekins.  I would have been much better off with a professional household goods van line move.

I sent an inquiry for an estimate. I received an immediate quote on paper and a contract. I literally was contacted again in less than 24 hours by a worker who claims I didn't respond and that the date I asked for moving had passed. I went back to original quote which showed a date 3 months from now. When I asked for clarification on what calendar system was being used since 3 months into the future has not passed, this person become immediately rude and  accused me of wasting their time. If this is how customers are treated on inquiries, I can only imagine how the service would be and the damage that could potentially occur with my personal belongings. This person then accused me of taking things personal so I asked for a supervisor.

I must start by saying the movers at the near and far ends were AWESOME!! They were all professional, courteous and kind. They picked up my things in Denver in Dec 2013 to move into storage until Sept 2014, when I contacted them with my delivery address. The entire time my things were in storage, I had repeated experiences of Mara Reyes' incompetence. Just when I thought she couldn't be less competent, she would surprise me again with that damn monthly bill. EVERY SINGLE MONTH, she would send my bill around the 30th, due on the 1st, inclusive of a $10 late fee. I called and gently explained that it was impossible to incur a late fee since I hadn't been previously billed. EVERY SINGLE MONTH, she apologized and promised to fix it and that it wouldn't happen again. EVERY SINGLE MONTH, a late fee appeared on my bill. EVERY SINGLE MONTH I relived this same exercise with the ever-incompetent Maria Reyes. That was my sampling of the frustration that was to accompany my final delivery. All this time I'm thinking my things are safe in their professional climate-controlled storage facility. When I called to schedule final delivery, I was blown-off, and experienced my first real twinge of anxiety - I seriously began to wonder if my things had been sold on ebay or craigslist months prior, as I continued to faithfully pay my monthly storage fee. After daily persistence spanning nearly 2 weeks, I finally got a delivery time-frame out of the ever-incompetent Maria Reyes. Actual delivery was a day later than what she told me, but I was overjoyed when I saw the truck pull up! Fully half of my joy was in believing that I'd never again have to deal with the ever-incompetent Maria Reyes. I probably wouldn't be writing this review except for what I later discovered... as I said at the start, the movers themselves were fantastic! And I'm grateful for being the Type A person I am. I made my own inventory list before loading the truck in Dec. Because of my list, I was able to quickly determine I was missing two very integral items: the LEGS and BASE to my pub table (the chairs and table top strangely made it), and a custom-cut glass shelf that goes to my antique vanity. So I have a table I can't use, and an antique with diminished value, thanks to the ever-incompetent Maria Reyes and her cronies. What's with hoarding the table legs - I read this also happened to another reviewer - seriously!!!I blasted an email to every person I'd ever spoken with or emailed there plus Customer Service, and was lucky enough to hear back from "Elena" who sounded sincerely empathetic. Although I believe she tried her best to locate my missing items, I'm certain now that I'll never see them again. But THAT'S not even the most disturbing part. Are you ready? Here it comes...I KNOW for a FACT that some of my things were USED!!! First, the obvious - my vacuum cleaner. The brush was LOADED with hair - and it wasn't mine! Being Type A, I would NEVER ship my vacuum cleaner in such condition. Further, the poor motor sounds like it's been beat to hell. Whoever used it must have been vacuuming an entire motel every day for the entire time it was in "storage"Next is the stool that goes with my vanity... the seat cushion was down to one little screw keeping it attached to the base. When the movers collected it in Dec, it was firmly intact. It has a cloth cover and I shudder to think of whose bare buns graced its surface for roughly 270 days. Needless to say I have a recovering project in progress...Last thing: instead of cardboard boxes, I packed most of my things in large "rubbermaid" bins, and taped the lids down. The tape was broken on almost every one of those bins. Normally I would chalk that up to movers grabbing them where they're taped and it naturally breaking there. But given this experience, I am convinced that someone(s) [I know that's not really a work but you get the idea] anyway, someone(s) went looking through AT LEAST SOME of my bins to see what household additions they might find.I have no idea what else was taken, and it sickens me to know there are people out there who think this is OK. I'm talking to you Maria Reyes. But hey, I'm healthy, I'm happy, and I believe in karma :-)

Save yourself from mistaking the same mistake I did in choosing this place. Worst experience ever! I put on my order sheet, which I still have that I have an L shaped couch.. Also a large. The gentlemen comes and he goes "your being charged extra for this, it's large" I said I know it's big it clearly says it on your work order "Large Shaped couch" also... I put I was going to have 15 boxes but I end up only having 11. I told them I wanted to be refunded because I didn't have as many boxes I placed on the order. Shawn which is the rep who did everything over the phone told me it's not a problem to put down more boxes and have it changed when they come. The guy who came tells me your being charged more if you don't like it I can take my men And leave... And started getting a Little loud in my apartment. When they come for delivery.. They tried to charge me wayyyyy more money... I hear the driver tell the other driver "if he doesn't give you money don't help him bring his stuff in.." I just paid you 1300.. And you don't want the delivery guy to help me put my stuff in?? He opens the truck and they damaged my stuff.. Also placed someone else's couch seat on the floor.. And they break someone's expensive plates, cups, all glass antique. I call to Complain about the guy who came to my house to pick it all up.. The complaint goes to the same guy who came to my house and tells me i have no right to call and complain about him And I am making him very mad??? Worst company ever.. I watched them damage someone else's property as well as my mattress, and my memory foam is all stained and dirty. There insurance is .60 per pound. So for example you have a 15 pound tv... That cost you 1500.00 your getting about 6.00 for the tv if your lucky. Please do not go to this company.
