History

Established in 1985. Two Men and a Truck® started in the early 1980s as a way for two brothers to make extra money while they were in high school. Now, more than 30 years later, the company has grown to over 320 locations worldwide. Brothers Brig Sorber and Jon Sorber started moving people in the Lansing, Mich., area using an old pickup truck. Their mom, Mary Ellen Sheets, developed a logo to put in a weekly community newspaper. That stickmen logo still rests on every truck, sign, and advertisement three decades later.After the brothers left for college, Sheets continued to field calls for moving services while she also worked a full-time data processing job with the State of Michigan. In 1985, she decided to make things official by purchasing a 14-foot truck for $350 and hiring a pair of movers. That $350 is the only capital Sheets has ever invested in the company.

Let me just start by saying im moving with my 5 year old. Single mom, on a budget and stressed about moving everything within my time frame. Well then I was referred to two men and a truck I was simply blown away! The men arrived on time in uniform introduced themselves to myself and even my son. They went through the paperwork and was off to business. Within 45 minutes my entire 2 bedroom 1100 square foot apartment was packed and loaded into the truck. The guys even took time to explain to my son what they were doing as he played the 50 questions game. I had concerns about my furniture fitting and they assured me everything was great.  They disassembled and reassembled and loaded and unloaded 30 boxes 2 full furnished bedrooms and a kitchen and living room within an hour and a half. I've never felt so much relief with the services rendered today. Lucas B. , Jared M. , and Greg R. Were better than expected. Respectful, professional and down right nice guys. I would recommend them to anyone. The price didn't break my bank and I don't think I could've done my move without them. I hope they see this and understand how much I truly appreciate them.

I loved my experience with them! They were very professional and courteous from the start. It was estimated that it would take about 3 and a half hours to move my stuff and they did it in 1.5 hours. My dresser was broken in the process (from IKEA so not the best quality). I let Two Men and a Truck know and they went to IKEA, bought me the same dresser, put it together for me, and dropped it off. They were awesome to work with! I will definitely be using them again!

This company is phenomenal! It's my 2nd time using them and it's obvious they hire movers who are conscientious and efficient. Dustin A and Lance B came on time, worked hard, and drove my stuff from Mesa to Tucson without a hitch. Once there, they unpacked quickly, set up as needed, and ended up saving me a bundle because of their efficiency. Thanks Dustin and Lance, and thanks Two Men and a Truck! Almost forgot--Jasmine in the office was very friendly and knowledgeable too.

I don't write 5-star reviews often, but the service at Two Men and a Truck is truly "as good as it gets!"  My two movers, W. and G, arrived on time, were polite, professional, and patient as they moved my Grandma's belongings from her house to storage.  They ensured no property was damaged during the move and provided excellent communication.  They did not complain a bit about hauling heavy oak furniture in 100+ heat and had a positive attitude the entire time.  The storage unit was arranged beautifully.  My coordinator, J, was courteous and provided timely responses to my questions.  The price was excellent!  Would hire them again in a heartbeat.  Keep up the good work!

They helped me move last weekend and did an amazing job. Not one thing was damaged and they worked with me when my house didn't close on time. Great company!!!
