After reading all the positive reviews we were excited to book with the company. The guys showed up on time which was really the only good thing that happened. The movers were already in a bad mood as they told me since the owner was out of town they had 2 moves that day so they could only spend an extra hour with us if needed. I was watching from my backyard as they threw my couch cushions into the truck (no one catching the cushions as they hit the ground. Putting this in there as the owner told me they are taught to toss cushions but with someone on the other end catching. That extra 5 steps to put them down was too much). When unloading the furniture, they put 2 nice scratches in the hardwood floor. The owner was nice enough to call his friend who specializes in hardwood floors to come out only to tell me what I had already googled on how "fix" the scratches. I thought he was coming out to actually fix the scratches but it was a waste of his time and mine. He could have called me to tell what I needed to buy. If he needed to asses the damage, he could have assessed it and came back to fix it. I had 2 Uhuals and after the movers finished unloading the one they loaded/unloaded which took them 3 hours and I paid for 4 hours, one went to his car to have a cigarette and the other asked for my payment code as they were done. I still had another Uhual to unload and beds to put together as they said they would if there was enough time. The owner asked why I gave them the payment code if I had more stuff for them to do and thought that was a valid question but when there are 2 guys who did not seem to care about my furniture and were not the nicest, the last thing I am going to do is ask them to move more boxes when they were clearly ready to leave. I figured I would reach out to the owner of the company. I expressed my concerns in the survey I received. The owner did contact me and again, said he would send someone out which he did only to state what google said and he did not fix the scratches. The reason I would never recommend this company and the only reason I am writing this review, the owner is very unprofessional and rude. He told me via text "I'm sorry and they have both been written up and there time worked for your will not be paid to them". I asked who my money was going to and his response "Part of the money is going toward the wood guy for coming out (total waste of time). The rest will go to movers for the work they did do. I would have refunded u some of the money back but with that review that was left will hurt us much more then u paid for movers". So for anyone out there who thinks they are due a refund as they did not complete the job, first get your money back and then write a review. Truthfully, I did not know it was a survey, I thought it was feedback to go back to the company.One thing I forgot, just to go along with how unprofessional they were, before the movers left, they said not to use Uhual to hire movers as they charge a lot more than if I were to have gone to them directly. Slap to Uhual when I am sure they receive a lot of business through them.

Doug has helped my family and friends with multiple moving needs over the past few years. From last minute move-out drama disasters to simply moving a few items or an entire place they are precise, careful and reliable. Their pricing is reasonable and a pleasure to work with.

We hired Skylar to do concrete demo work at our home. We agreed that the work would be over 2 consecutive days as a dumpster had to be placed in the street. At the end of the 1st day Doug asked for 50% payment which we paid. Then after receiving the check he said he had to get to the rental store to take the rental equipment back. I asked why and he said he had another job to do the following day. I reminded him that was not our agreement and he basically said, oh well nothing he could do. He then said he would come back the following Wednesday. No call, no show...he never intended to come back. He broke his word and the contract so don't let the ex-military thing fool you. Left the job less than half done and we had to pay for a dumpster that was only half full to get it out of the street.

Fantastic work, great price. Doug is smart, creative, always on time, and very efficient. I've hired him 3 times and every time he's been great. Strongly recommended.

Did a great job moving 13 tons of gravel to my backyard and spread it. Called around to different places and tgis company offered the best price by far.
